Ronald: CausalityA Story by Abishai100An immigrant recounts his darker past in an apartment/home and 'spins' this examination of transcendence into a 'dream' for writing redemption.
An immigration-tale of complex proportion, inspired (loosely) by Life as a House (Kevin Kline). Thanks for reading!

==== Ronald looked back upon his horrifying memories of his younger/past years in a certain American apartment building in which he lived with his immigrant-family from Asia and considered how he'd escaped a certain 'hell' created by strains in silent emotions and rage kept hidden from the outside world and now hoped to cast this 'examination' in a cyber-highway superstitions-tale about 'wrought' convictions and consciousness for a Homeland expression regarding the 'nature' of capitalism's strange turns to shocking miracles (now shared on social-media platforms in the United States). ![]() His stark memory of this gripping experience concerned his 'troubled' father who kept silent rage secret from others inside his apartment/home in the USA but didn't 'spare' his equally-troubled nuclear-family who'd become his only/terrified witnesses to stranger evil. Ronald remembered a certain moment in this harrowing examination of wrought immigration-optimism transcendence of evil and if it'd inspire some form of 'living' traffic-conscious art to be shared (with others!) on social-media for a hospitality-IQ concerning the ironic discovery of 'conversational' humility (wow). ![]() RONALD (Novel Notes): That special apartment-complex is where my family of 'troubles' wrestled with the unbearable darkness of being, and we'd think this silent-fury concerning trapped feelings of family-mistrust and failure would create in all of us a living 'terror' regarding our views of my father and how he'd ultimately 'capture' this apartment-immigration examination as a personalized form of residential alienation (in this otherwise 'remarkable' Homeland). ![]() That apartment building really was a nice place to live, and Ronald remembered running through the halls and lobby with his sister and singing and dancing and greeting other youngsters (girls/boys) with great magical enthusiasm, only to return-home to that same-old feeling of horrid-realism created by those nasty 'troubles' endured by that special/challenged immigrant family that would have to 'discover' a natural miracle-causality in this Homeland 'context' of unbearable complication/sadness (hmm). ![]() RONALD: Finally, I grabbed a fly-swatter one glorious Saturday morning when my 'troubled' father was in a rather depressing and frightful expression of self-destructive angst in front of us and decided to continually strike him on the back with it, insisting that what I was doing was creating the 'spirit-revelation' that his own beloved-son was being 'clever' in the use of a handy-dandy 'toy-tool' to 'spark' that instant being-feeling of undeniable 'hubris' inside our shared apartment/home (ha). ![]() Ronald's father decided to seek-out psychiatric treatment after the family moved-out of that 'dark' apartment-home in the American Homeland after immigrating to this Western nation, and Ronald would become an Ivy-grad and writer, penning this strange memory into a 'tale-of-mystery' and conquest (following his father's natural-cause related ultimate death!) that would 'move' his own family (and now-elder mom and adult-sister) to share his newfound love of shrimp-pizza kitchen-handwriting and hospitality (sure). ![]() RONALD: What's so unique about this great land of immigration/dreams is that one may never encounter that feeling of certainty in dream-achievement potential but would literally 'move' through the landscape of America 'striving' only for that image of happiness and (perhaps) ultimately discovering a 'stranger' form of capitalism's reach-for-trophies, which is why I (ultimately) opted to 'spin' my memory-of-ruins into a novel-worthy superstitions-tale about immigration resolution paralleling my (own) love of creativity, fantasy, fear, and Western storytelling (for all). Well, Ronald won the Pulitzer for his searing portrait of immigration-unhappiness transcendence in the Homeland, and he'd tell his (own) family and son (Damian) to think 'clearly' about the sort of notebook-doodles and art-creativity that would 'move' Damian to think 'openly' about the nature of American expressions inspired by TV and sports/cartoons and college/pro teams (perhaps!) that would instill in Damian a 'fresh' sense of the potential of discovery-of-reason and happiness in a country where private dreams would translate into social sharing of a 'mental' handshake (ha). ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
