Winning: White Sale

An aspiring immigrant-actor must find forms for dreams, self-awareness, and perhaps even 'rebound' following a helium Oscar-night wonder (his relish).

Another nod (fanfiction/adaptation) of the 'gripping' American film The Oscar (Stephen Boyd), which is a great piece to draw 'capitalist' inspiration for, for fan-writes. Hope you like (and thanks so much for reading!),

Amlan Satan moved from Algiers to Boston and began auditioning for a special role in a film made by a newcomer about the fantastic splendors of college-athletics coaching, an allegory of an iconic American media-landscape school-team of fantastic laurels and social reflection and stunned audiences with his searing portrait of the composition of team leadership requiring a special form for 'personality' in competition-class hand-fiction, and he drew much commentary on social-media (wow).

SATAN (Amlan): "I bought myself a special basketball-themed (collegiate) chess-set (toy?) that would remind me of what made my role/performance in this unusual work/exercise in American competitive-athletics 'broadcast-culture' a re-presentation of all things distinctly Western/Utopian (for all!)."

Well, Mr. Satan had been awestruck at all the red-carpet glitter and dazzle and 'ghost-magic' after being nominated for the Best-Actor award for that 'incredible' social-media commentary drawing role/performance as a college-basketball leader/coach and wondered what he'd post on social-media (Twitter?) regarding the shape of the American Dream and what made this special Oscar-night 'event' his veiled (secret) passion for that yearning to simply win...in this 'Western-crowd' of special ambitious readings (for all).

However, Satan didn't win the Oscar on this eventful night, as a very prominent science-fiction film-maker, instead, boasted his star-triumph for a rather 'shocking' portrait of non-human contact, following 'suit' in a cinema-industry richly-filled with graphic/creative imagery regarding our Earthling 'awareness' of the vastness of space...and the scale of hell (wow).

SATAN (Amlan): "Winning was everything (to me); it was the feather for the immigration journal, and I (perhaps) 'needed' to win, and when I returned home that night after losing the Oscar, I decided to read my copy of An American Tragedy and woke the next-day, made myself eggs-ham and stared out my front-window and maybe whispered, in my brain, 'Americans enrich the 'challenge' of ascension...and have offered me that 'rich' image of a wrought humility (or return)'."

Wow, Mr. Satan had it all now, especially that 'wrought' sense of humility that comes from modest disappointment from not attaining some extra credit 'laurel' of the American Dream reflection, that shiny/gold Oscar-trophy, a sign of what makes this land such a 'dream' of unusual handshakes/controversy/examination(s). Would this 'humility' draw in him a special interest to create a competition-class 'art-tale' of what made immigration for him (personally) a 'thing' of extra-ordinary wind (hmm)?

SATAN (Amlan): "Things turned for me (again!) when I encountered a 'view' of loveliness or ghost-magic charms, in the form of a haunting American eatery-hostess (Esmerelda) who'd remind me that despite any sadness of my immigration 'journey' (now), I just might find a 'social-media culture friendly' Selfie-smile of a 'lit' radishes face (ha)."

So instead of getting down on himself, Amlan Satan decided to mount in his Homeland apartment a special post-9/11 era Twin-Towers portrait that would remind him what drew in him an 'American' expression of wonder/ambition --- perhaps the 'light' of water-wells (for the Ego).
