Duke's Forest: Manmade Religion

Duke's Forest: Manmade Religion

A sports-writer references an 'iconic' media-age 21st-Century college-athletics rivalry 'moment' (game) signifying a Homeland competition-chess interest in 'working' art.

A sports-media 'vignette' drawing on the modern media-culture college-athletics (basketball) 'culture-confidence' themes/imagery from the controversy-lingo American 'competition-market' film Blue Chips (Nick Nolte). Happe Independence Day, USA!

My name's Amlan Satan, and I used my princely-inherited fortunes in the post-9/11 era Homeland of social-media culture 'handshakes' and capitalism-race linked commerce/media life hospitality 'intelligence' to create a special sportsmanship (college-athletics) 'access-window' storyboard on the cyber-highway while living in the Courtyard (New England) as an American citizen/Catholic 'working' to cast competition-class 'education' on social-media as a 'personality' driven wish-society 'net-doctorate' (for the Ego).

Well, the symbolic media-broadcast age college-athletics (basketball!) 'handshake-game' (or event!) of great Homeland culture/society symbolism I've been referencing for this 'art' of education/sportsmanship is the rather poignant 2005 ESPN-broadcast Wednesday-Eve game between the Duke Blue-Devils and Wake Forest Demon-Deacons. This 'cool' game which resulted in a Deacons-win (close-scoreline) featured an icy-electric 'rivalry' showdown between two chess-excellent court-masters of the basketball arena, Duke's JJ-Redick (a pure 3-point artist) and Wake Forest's team-electrifying Chris Paul (who'd go onto challenge the great Allen Iverson in the NBA!). This Blue-Devils/Demon-Deacons 'showcase' in college-basketball on ESPN/TV in this post-9/11 era Homeland (America) signified to me why competition-class 'education' may reflect a lifestyle 'hospitality' for our capitalism-race culture indicating a 'shared' interest/profit for securities or confidence concerning Western-world 'wellness' (for the Ego).

Why was this Duke/Forest 'showdown' between Redick/Paul a media-culture 'signpost' re-presenting our Western/American 'fascination' with the competition 'hand' of manmade religion, concerning commerce/media-life confidence (for the Ego)? Well, I considered the answer quite clear, and imprinted onto the game 'theatrics' itself (ha). Paul's Deacons were creating offense-excellence with muscular team-rotation play, but Duke's Redick offered a 'cooling' reaction-of-work with repetitive 'freezing' 3-point rain-wall(s), ultimately suggesting why this conference (ACC) media-culture 'showcase' was a highlight for educators/fans/writers/artists alike who wished to re-present capitalism-symbolic activity as sports-arena 'training' work (or manmade philosophy!). Duke had acquired multiple national titles and countless ACC laurels, and Wake Forest on this 2005 Wednesday created a 'hot' challenge for the Blue-Devils' shooting-musician (Redick) with their general weaver (Chris Paul), and I had to re-create the 'diagram' of this sportsmanship 'handshake' as a true 'treasure' of post-9/11 era social-net 'wire' securities/confidence (wow).

Despite the fact that Paul's Deacons (ultimately) won this media-feather game (2/2/2005), and would (arguably) cast (for fans!) this rivalry-showcase with the Devils' Redick (Duke) as a 'highlight' for sportsmanship storytelling, the real 'story' of this Homeland media-culture 'highlight' is in fact the court-artistry wonders-rich 'chess-stalemate of ambitious 'college-life' (for the Ego) shined by this under-appreciated Paul-Redick (American) 'parallax' of genius (for manmade religion/competition!). Isn't this what post Cold-War Western media is all about (really) --- the 'image' of the purified 'work' state (for the Ego)?

Therefore, I complemented this Deacons/Devils 'media-showcase' of the 21st-Century on ESPN/TV with a 'cool' youthful comics-vigilantism duo 'doodle' representing or symbolizing our 'great' American 'image' of all that's vigilance concerning this post-9/11 era Homeland view for 'incomplete' work-therapy (for the soul). This is 'true' art, no?

Then, I got myself a very nice 'treasure' of the college-athletics 'landscape' of my Homeland for continued shares/investments in competition-class 'handshakes' (for inventions in culture!), a cool Duke-Redick game-ticket prize-image card of great 'work' value to our Western-world of sportsmanship-vanities. Perhaps this was the 'souvenir' in my 'micro-crusade' to cast media-life/commentary and superstition-storytelling as a 'form' for great American wake/warfare (hmm). After all, college-athletics (e.g., basketball!) had become a form for marketing 'chess-excellence' and ambition-training/education for a Western 'examination' concerning all that had become a 'pure' world (ha).

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
