Amlan Satan, an affable Homeland-Jersey librarian, gets a 'transformed' life of (basketball) achievement and discovers a form of Earth-weakness.

"
A July-4th tale of life-alterations drawing on some of the 'classic' American patriotic themes from Mr. Destiny (Michael Caine), which I think you'll like,
----
====

Amlan Satan was a goodly (Catholic) citizen of Voorhees/Echelon (New Jersey, USA) who enjoyed his quiet-peaceful life as a suburban librarian and liked taking-out readings for weekends and watching TV at home alone, particularly reflecting on the quality of American-culture imagination in classic programs on rerun-cable channels featuring these old-era shows like All in the Family and My Three Sons. Mr. Satan liked commenting on these quality-shows on social-media and reading comments about his reviews in this modern Homeland culture of network-driven conversation(s).

AMLAN SATAN: Working for education arenas is my special Romanticism after obtaining my Dartmouth (college) degree, and I enjoy thinking of myself as an accessible good citizen of this Homeland of literary fascination and investment (for the Ego).

However, this man of ordinary-magic was about to get a strange-hand in the fate of Earth's wheel(s), as he began daydreaming of becoming a more 'worldly' man of fortune/chance, and he thought of the special superstition in this great America of obtaining extra credit wonders through sheer luck or lottery, especially after he decided (during this brain-shift) to become a Sports-Illustrated subscription-man and began commenting on social-media about the richness of 'color' in capitalism's unique 'romanticized' consciousness (wow).

AMLAN SATAN (Journal): Wow, thinking I'd simply be a man of library-chess was no small humility that would draw in me a special other-worldly ambition for highness, and when I got myself a very cool Darren Daulton (Phillies) local-fanfare 'treasure' card for shares, I started thinking I'd be 'transported' in my soul into another dimension of capitalism-word (hmm).

That's what happened to this Earth-prince in this tale of mystery and ambition-wheels. Amlan Satan found himself in a dream-sleep vision traversing through a 'gate-portal' of fortune, and when he came-out the other side, he was literally another person or reincarnated 'version' of his otherwise 'Bartleby-like' humble Self...a man of visualized conquest (wow).

When he came out the other side of the gate and awoke discovering a new body/consciousness of true genius, he immediately contacted a college-athletics (basketball!) program in the Homeland-Jersey area of Catholic-education/highness (Seton-Hall) to seek employment as a brilliant team assistant-coach. After 1 year of serving in this newfound life of sporting intuition, Mr. Satan was 'celebrated' as a genius-coach of great team-zone acumen education and spirited his pirate-force/team to levels of national cheer(s) that would prompt newfound local (Homeland-Jersey) citizenry fanfare in the video-game (basketball!) tourney world (ha).

SATAN: Is this a life we read of in the Bible --- one of 'synthesized' wiring?

Well, regardless of his feelings of self-consciousness, Amlan discovered a rather grounded form of happy-charm in Homeland-Jersey spirit as this brilliantly accredited/cheered/celebrated college-athletics (basketball!) coach and man-of-feathers for real Western lore. He walked back into that sacred/little Voorhees hometown library one Saturday AM and found his old-position was now occupied by a very beautiful and 'nerdy' princess-like lady named Ms. Dalton (recently-divorced) and courted her to marriage and spent his Saturday PMs watching new era 'colored' programs of greater 'imagery' with her in her apartment (Echelon) such as Friends and Big City Greens (hmm).

AMLAN SATAN (Journal): Wow, this is the life of transformation I'd read about in school-days, and I recount this examination of humility-turned-reflection with my memory of Dreiser's seminal work of ambition-gone-dark, and I decided to get myself a rare-edition of Dreiser's meaningful word-rich exercise in 'American' regret, to perhaps read to myself and think-back on what my life would've been...had I not been 'transformed' into this new 'song' of simply acquired 'sporting' vanities and American Dream wish-study (for the soul).

"Art is the stored honey of the human soul, gathered on wings of misery and travail" (Theodore Dreiser).
