Engineering for OscarA Story by Abishai100Two immigrants are equally honored/nominated on Oscar-night for a tennis-competition film about envy that draws 'certain' weakness!
A very nice (and fun!) fanfiction of The Oscar (Stephen Boyd), which I hope you like,
----
==== Amlan and Raki both moved to America from Algeria (together) and discovered that special wonder/image of special handshakes of activity and sportsmanship that drove the post-9/11 era Homeland 'culture' of competition-class superstitions and storytelling and became fascinated by this world of 'toys' re-presenting capitalism-race reflective/symbolic 'folk' ambition words (for the Ego). ![]() Amlan/Raki decided to audition for a 'striking' new Hollywood non-mainstream 'artsy' film (made by a striking newcomer!) about two immigrants competing in a major world-tennis tourney in the Homeland that draws much social-media commentary and words, and the two (real-life) immigrants portrayed the rival tennis stars beautifully, completing a 'dashing' portrait of sportsmanship-media culture drawn natural 'envy' that drew much commentary (on social media!) about immigration-journals 'tied' with the 'chess' of modern folk-migration and American Dream words (for the Ego). ![]() OSCAR HOST: It's no 'shock' (now) this form for storytelling in this Hollywood 'environment' would induce a great 'glee' for an immigration-conscious film about natural tennis-envy, featuring two (real-life!) immigrants who portrayed the roles (beautifully!) to remind us (all) why the American Dream may draw a special 'veil' for the confidence-game linked to Western ritual (wow). ![]() Amlan/Raki actually (ironically) both fell 'deeply' in-love with their lead-actress in the very touted newcomer-film in Hollywood, the 'stunning' Esmerelda Pointe, who confirmed without doubt for the two immigrants why they were 'living-out' their actual fantasy of wrought ambitions blended with the complicated human consciousness (hmm). In fact, Amlan/Raki suddenly felt like they were harnessing those very-same 'emotions' they presented in their honored film (wow)! They began (both) posting on social-media, "Perhaps the culture of faces and activity in capitalism-culture (now) offers us the 'beauty' for shared weakness (for the soul)." ![]() ESMERELDA: I love you both (honestly). AMLAN: Who's the better actor? RAKI: Choose the one that makes you feel 'safer' (at home), Esmerelda! ESMERELDA: Well...Raki won the Oscar, and beat-out Amlan on Oscar-night (hmm). AMLAN: You'll choose Raki...because this is 'the' time for weakness image(s). ESMERELDA: Wow. ![]() INTERVIEW: Did you regret losing to Raki (your immigrant compatriot/pal)? AMLAN: Sort of (sometimes); we'd both been honored in the same category (no?). INTERVIEW: This has happened before; two actors nominated in the same category. AMLAN: Raki won (fair-and-square)...and in more ways than one (damn). INTERVIEW: What will you do (now), Amlan Satan? AMLAN: I'm writing a 'great' American novel (Tennis-Wins) and hosting an online cooking-club. INTERVIEW: Wow. ![]() Well, Esmerelda/Raki got married, and Raki became an American Dream faerie-tale, and Amlan meanwhile went onto become a pronounced 'cult-favorite' sports-superstition story-writer, and his novel (Tennis-Wins) was hailed as a new age 'wonders-rendition' of Kerouac-esque readings for superstition-oriented capitalism-race 'conscious' weakness (wow). AMLAN SATAN: "I lost on Oscar-night; but I've gone on to write/present sports-superstition 'magic-hand' readings and perhaps discover a 'form' for that post-9/11 era Homeland social-media culture 'friendly' defiance image of 'stunning' upstart-sportsmanship-weeds (for the Ego)." ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2023 Abishai100 |
