Simon/Simon: Carolina Damsel Wishes

The two hero detectives-for-hire must assist a Carolina damsel in a gem-market underworld 'ring' case tied with Homeland eyes-of-word.

Amlan and Thai Simon (no relation!) were in Durham for the Xmas-season and were involved in their new (private!) detective-for-hire agency case involving a nefarious diamond-insurance corruption underworld ring potentially tied to some local (college-athletics media) controversy and were employed to protect a 'damsel' of Carolina named Carolina who'd become their special Xmas-town hostess for this evil mystery concerning treasure exploitation in their great Homeland (America).

AMLAN SIMON: We'd been seeking a special 'view' for basketball video-game off-time.

THAI SIMON: No time for a break, Amlan; Carolina's a college-ball video-game Facebook.

Their employer, Carolina's father, knew that his lovely daughter's 'Duke-basketball' family and ties with a Durham gem-store would have put her into the media/capitalist 'spotlight' during the emergence of this gem-insurance underworld corruption-ring, and after Carolina posted social-media commentary, she was suddenly 'stalked' by the ring's henchmen whom, she noticed, were following her during her visits to the Durham gem-store (wow).

AMLAN (Simon): Here's a comic book about fortune-happy for your kid (Damian).

THAI (Simon): You hide here in this motel with Damian while we prowl Durham.

CAROLINA: You guys have a great hand for this; thanx (so much); we'll stay here!

These gem-insurance corruption 'henchmen' were sent by a ruthless diamond-baron who'd been dining (regularly) at a popular Durham Chinese-dive which he was spotted in (and commented about on social media) on regular Saturdays, which is how Simon and Simon found him and began to inquire about his 'lengths' of investment concerning Durham/Carolina pedestrian treasure-insurance interest and consumerism for the Xmas-season and found out the baron was making a 'wider' ring of social-media 'friendly' gem-insurance/traffic consumerism for Carolina (hmm).

AMLAN (Simon): We'll go to the restaurant where the baron has become a patron, Carolina.

THAI (Simon): While Damian 'wows' the baron with the new toy-gun we got, we'll put a spell on him.

CAROLINA: This sounds dangerous; what's the play is the only concern (no?).

BARON: You brought Carolina to this Saturday affair then, detectives?
SIMON/SIMON: This is regular traffic spot for media, bad baron.

BARON: What do you imply (here/now)?

SIMON/SIMON: You put on social-media there's greater hand for insurance confidence.

BARON: For what/whom?
SIMON/SIMON: For your own street-rep; lest Carolina's 'thinking' for scandal(s).

BARON: Clever; you put that 'celebrity' social media hand-writing on our collar?

SIMON/SIMON: The next step is departure from Durham; or lengthened gossip.

BARON: Damn....seems (perhaps) your Carolina-damsel's offered my 'exile' wind.

SIMON/SIMON: Good (for social-media and college-markets, baron).

BARON: Alright.

Simon/Simon pulled off the miracle and hoped another corruption-ring of commerce-insurance hellmouths would not simply 'sub-in' for what the baron had placed-in for Carolina's paranoia during the Xmas-gem consumerism-heavy season in the Homeland (ha). Now, they'd take that 'earned' break for sports-cyber gaming wind (for the Ego).
