Airplane of Weakness

A fun summer adaptation/fanfiction of the original Airplane! (Robert Hays) comedy about human/Earth transit drama (and heaven).

"
A fun summer-adaptation of the iconic (original) transit-comedy and spoof of the Airport series Airplane! (Robert Hays), which I hope you like,

Amlan/Raki prepared from their KLM-departure from the Netherlands (Amsterdam) airport and hoped to find a good reason to get to the American Homeland in time for summer, but were in-store for a mid-flight 'misadventure' of rather alien-proportion that would draw a social-media culture commentary 'handshake' concerning traffic-experience imagination and personality (for the Ego).

AMLAN: This is such a 'fine' airport (Schipol), Raki.
RAKI: Excellence; our Euro-American flight should be just comfy.
AMLAN: We chose a 'solid' airline (well, you did).
RAKI: You sound hesitant, pal.
AMLAN: The flight-attendant is my ex-wife (Elka), Raki.
RAKI: Wow.

ELKA: Why'd you choose this particular flight (I'm on)?
AMLAN: Hey, Raki (my pal) chose it; I had nothing to do with this, Elka (promise).
ELKA: Don't be forward with me (at all), Amlan Satan.
AMLAN: What do you think of me...I'm a cyber-writer and photographer (now).
ELKA: Good (I think).

The flight was on-time and all the passengers (Amlan/Raki) were ready for a great journey to the Americas, and the pilot announced with the attendants they'd circulate leaflet portraits of a 'celebrity' patron of the special airline-flight who wished all the passengers/patrons well on this symbolic Europe-America trip in the post-9/11 era, hopefully drawing some 'cool' social-media commentary concerning those 'lines' between transit...and storytelling (for the Ego).

Unfortunately, darkness was in the horizons of the sky on this Euro-American flight for Amlan/Raki when they discovered a terrorist had carried-on a briefcase full of diamonds and stolen/counterfeit bills tied with some 'conflict-zone' finances linked with some 'hazy' group of the underground known (loosely!) as Cobra (wow).

AMLAN: This guy looks like a deranged artist, Raki.
RAKI: You spotted his contraband, Amlan; I wonder how he got it on-board.
AMLAN: These mod-terrorists have (all) the resources...for the Ego (hmm).
RAKI: I'll pretend to be a 'fan' mistaking him for a movie-actor/producer.
AMLAN: I'll grab his briefcase and switch it with this other-one of identical look.
RAKI: We'll either be very lucky...or unlucky.
AMLAN: You said it (pal).

Well, all turned out well (ok) for the passengers/staff of the flight, and Amlan/Raki were able to wrestle-away the deranged terror-artist with the 'dangerous' briefcase/contraband and man the plane to an Atlantic island after the terrorist managed to sabotage the engine and seize control of the flight from the pilots to take the plane to Canada with one-engine (only).

RAKI: All's perfect in love...and war...on an airplane of weakness (hmm).
AMLAN: At least the food was good (wow).

ELKA: I still love you, Amlan Satan.
AMLAN: I want that attendant-doll you've got in your purse, Elka my sweetie.
ELKA: Only if you make me a 'real' promise, prince.
AMLAN: Name it.
ELKA: Alright...I'll name the doll Elka (hint).
AMLAN: I know (thanx).

NEWS: With the plane (safely) routed to a Paradise-island in the Atlantic by our two 'worldly' heroes-of-adventure (Amlan/Raki), we can safely conclude this transit 'examination' for airplane-wording has yielded a 'cinema' view for what's really important to (us) Earthlings --- the 'figure' of readings.
