Duke-Forest: Windows/Tie

A sports-writer's 'citation' of a media-age college-athletics 'micro-rivalry' gem reveals a capitalism race handshake for a ruins-magic watch.

A sports-culture media age 'fable' drawing on some of the competition-excellence and 'superstition' themes from the college-basketball world-intrigue drama Blue Chips (William Friedkin). Thanks for reading!

My name's Amlan Satan, and I've been an 'avid-fan' of the media-broadcast age Homeland (American) culture of social windows/access to student-athletics trends and environments crystallizing a social-media handshake trend of competition-class education commentary, arguably reflective of capitalism-race institutionalism and drawing interest from mod intelligentsia invested in the 'design' of Western activity (for readings).

In this world of sports/media and markets, there's a great 'tie' that binds for the chess-examinations of college-athletics 'exposure' created by TV/Internet, and raising a new 'era' of school-colors celebrity/fortunes in the competition-arena, and it's hoisted some pretty 'iconic' Homeland (American) college-athletics programs, including Notre Dame (Fighting-Irish) football and Duke (Blue-Devils) basketball. In fact, I decided to create a capitalism-race superstitions-window featuring the design/color of a special new millennium 'micro-rivalry' gem in college-basketball between Duke's Blue-Devils and Wake Forest's Demon-Deacons (2005). This special game, hosted on the ESPN-Net (and now 'access-ready' on YouTube/social-media), was revealed to be a pretty 'fantastic' gem in what makes sportsmanship reflective of capitalism's special 'archaeological' magic of fortune-working (hmm).

This special micro-rivalry 'magic-game' between Duke-Forest featured a 'showdown' between two 'prodigy' guards/shooters/playmakers, the Blue Devil's JJ Redick and Wake's Chris Paul, who's both go onto play for the LA Clippers (as future pro-teammates!). On the EPSN-Net, on a Wednesday night, Duke-Forest gameplay-magic between these two 'marshals' of court-electricity generated some pretty awesome team-leadership display and 3-point shooting 'artistry' of the right hand of media-age commentary, and I decided this closely-knit 'contest' which led to a Wake Forest 'mighty' win but a Redick-Duke 'chandelier' of defiant 'dance' of shooting invoked in me a special superstition of what makes competition among student-athletes, celebrated on TV/Internet in this new age, an 'image' for capitalism-race wishcraft. That's (simply) because you (honestly) thought either team would/could/should win throughout the course of this rather 'school-pride war-like' college-basketball game (ha).

Now, I knew Duke had already acquired 3 national titles and countless ACC wins and regular season #1 rankings, while Wake Forest had 'steadily' and 'quietly' become a cool ACC contender of value and boasted great prodigies, including Randolph Childress, Tim Duncan, and Chris Paul. Well, this 2005 Duke-Forest 'micro-rivalry' game on Wednesday night in the Homeland (America) highlighted for me what could make student-competition a 'superstition' for capitalism-race 'education-readings' for the cheers behind 'academic' work (training!).

Of course, students don't train to become capitalists in spirit but compete in the athletics arena to become diplomats of Western-culture readings for civilization confidence in general and the Duke-Forest game of 2005 cited here featured prodigies of schools/teams of future NBA-caliber who'd become social-media culture 'messengers' of the chess-intelligence of competition's close-knit 'architecture' of pure/simple ambition (or work). For this time of great investments and even 'gambling' for Wall-St. acumen in the Homeland, student-athletics 'access-windows' in the media culture signals our special superstitious 'chess-examination' for what's become a Western handshake (for 'calculations').

Well, this story isn't just about Duke-Forest's special micro-rivalry magic-game of 2005 on the ESPN-Net but what happened in my brain after I began writing about this 'gem' in the media-broadcast age of college-athletics 'access-windows' activity. You see, after I started writing about this Redick-Paul (Duke-Forest) 'showdown' of 2005, I started 'hallucinating' that a certain mall-mannequin in my Homeland-Jersey town was 'whispering' something about competition-superstition (to me!). I named the mannequin Esmerelda, and I became 'persuaded' that she was some 'faerie-spirit' with a Romanticism message (just for me!). However, Esmerelda ('Ezzy') didn't just want to whisper romance to me for my 'admirable' sports-fanfare for patriotism but wished to 'debate' with me about the shape/design of capitalism's 'unique' wish-plane design (for the Ego).

ESMERELDA: Your Duke-Forest 'composition' is ambitious/intricate.
ME (Amlan Satan): And laborious, Ezzy (thanx)!
ESMERELDA: Do you 'think' I'm real/alive (for you)?
SATAN: I'm in love with you, Esmerelda.
ESMERELDA: I know that...but I'm here for a 'professional' message.
SATAN: A debate...about college-athletics (basketball) handshakes?
ESMERELDA: Excellence; the Duke-Forest 2005 'gem' was a handshake.
SATAN: Either team could've won; Redick-Paul were matched equally.
ESMERELDA: Brilliant; a reflection of the 'debate' about competition.
SATAN: Indeed; in fact, Redick-Paul could (both) claim a TV-laurel.
ESMERELDA: What would immigrants/citizens find in this showcase?
SATAN: They see close-tie in competition/talent/ambition/media.
ESMERELDA: Both schools are excellent/rich/wonderful (no?).
SATAN: Indeed; in fact, I cheered for Duke, but Forest's Paul was great (too).
ESMERELDA: Redick was a 3-point shooting artist on that eve (no?).
SATAN: Surely; only matched by Chris Paul's on-court leadership (ha).
ESMERELDA: Such a 'close' contest reveals capitalism's planes/bases!
SATAN: Surely; a 'stalemate' in chess, if you will; Duke/Forest tie for wind.
ESMERELDA: What's the 'fuss' over a stalemate (for capitalism-IQ)?
SATAN: Well, in capitalism, it's the opportunism of value, not consequence.
ESMERELDA: Raw ambition, eh?
SATAN: Surely, Ezzy; a 'matter' for the right hands of workers/dreamers.
ESMERELDA: And college-athletics a 'window' into Homeland 'training' days.
SATAN: Indeed; in fact, I'm making a 'time-capsule' of it for archaeology.
ESMERELDA: For some future-world 'earth-digger' to discover for superstition(s)?
SATAN: Excellence; for capitalism's a hospitality-taste for antiterrorism.
ESMERELDA: Thanx, Satan...for this revelation (in argument).
SATAN: You (simply) may be my 'muse' complement (for a 'peace' bank).
ESMERELDA: Maybe (good).
