Godfather's Coda-Chicago

A tale of 'evolving' immigration-family power/history culminating in a Windy-City 'lyric' concerning the darkness of discovered 'American' wire(s).

A 'rich' and inventive adaptation of that final chapter of that timeless masterpiece-series about Italian-American crime-noir and immigration 'linked' lyrics of power/mystery, Godfather III (Francis Ford Coppola), starring Andy Garcia, which I hope you like (and thanks for reading),

Don Alita had become a prominent and power-satisfied man of Italian-immigration history and established himself in this generation as a Windy-City 'laurel-man' seeking a cool investment-tie with a Vatican-City website-initiative for the globe-marketing of various world-fare goods in the post-9/11 era of social-media/network driven capitalism-race word (wow).

DON ALITA: My great art(s), for immigrating and bringing our Alita-family to its great high-art, through machine-gun 'religion' for Chicago and the enduring bonds of family/friendship/complexity despite 'generations' of violence and street-justice for a Homeland 'view' for wrought story-writing, all in 'eclipse' (fearfully) should I not find the right inheritor of this great 'picture-referencing' mantle, and my only 'candidate' is my sister's head-strong (but defiant!) son Amlan Satan (hmm).

Well, Chicago had become a true hostel of sorts for Italian-Catholics, and word swept the streets/social-media regarding the Alita family's cool-hand investments in the new Vatican-City website 'initiative' for globe-commerce unifying social rhetoric and capitalism-race 'chess' for this new Earth age, and Amlan Satan, that defiant-son of Don Alita's sister (Talia), was the best contender for the inheritor of the Alita-family throne, but Satan (Amlan!) was busy courting a Sicilian-pizza dive/business in Chicago's 'hip' student-district (for now), while dodging/erasing those 'pesky' rivals who detested multiculturalism and pluralism 'hospitable' capitalism in the modern United States (hmm).

AMLAN SATAN: It's no sweat, Godfather; let me be your guiding-knight; I know the streets, and I know TV, and I know good World Cup investments for your website tie-ins for this 'chess' examination you've hoisted, and my beloved mom (Talia) knows I've that 'fire' you hinted I'd 'showcase' should you endow me this throne to carry-on the Alita-family blessing(s), for all of this Windy-City...and I've befriended some of the Chicago 'intelligentsia' who network/link and 'draw' interest from American social-media readings/surfers (sure).

Well, needless to say, Don Alita was 'stunned' with this 'cool-hand' proposal by the valiantly 'slick' Amlan Satan, his nephew who'd offered him those right 'gestures' and acrobatics to don this Alita-family mantle which was in the twilight of its long crime-mafia history in the Homeland and (now) sought the overground assimilation of sorts into Catholic 'wellness' life (for all!). However, Don Alita charged Satan to perform a 'final' curtain of 'tricks' of history of this crime-lyric of American 'underworld' chess and ordered the executions of households of remaining powerhouse 'figures' of the Chicago crime-network, some tied to blood-diamond hellmouth from Sierra Leone. Satan (Amlan) carried-out this 'order' of illusion and performed bank-box raids and exterminations of gem-baron households and brought back the image/tale of wrought Chicago readings for his beloved Godfather (perhaps even for a 'cinema' expression --- wow).

TALIA: You've astounded our Godfather, Amlan, with your magic-act(s).

AMLAN: I'll save this family...ride it into the retirement vision of Godfather!

TALIA: Excellence, sonny; I knew you'd be the torch-light for treasure.

AMLAN: I'm consulting with a jewelry-artist for a Chicago-website (now).

TALIA: Cool!

Don Alita meanwhile forged his triumphant bridges of mystery with the elders of Vatican-City website planning/traffic and forged that vision of retirement 'excellence' forwarded by the Alita-family from the Windy-City in this post-9/11 era Homeland of cinema-friendly 'expressions' of what made traffic-controls and 'power' an (arguably) 'American' view (for the Ego).

DON ALITA: A toy machine-gun, for your son (Damian).

AMLAN: Excellence, Godfather; but this is a surprise for me/mother!
DON ALITA: You'll flower as the new Don, and I'll play with your son.

AMLAN: What fortune for black-fate worry; he'll love you (and your gift).

DON ALITA: Toys...toys...toys.

AMLAN: I'll ensure no 'betrayal' maneuver for our Chicago Xmas-event.

DON ALITA: Perhaps a complementary toy-drive web-feature, Satan?

Amlan began dating a cool Chicago journalist named Tandy and would eventually marry her and secure this retirement view of that amazing Alita-family's 'saga' in this Windy-City of great storyboards, and perhaps this sort of crime-overturn fortune-reading would provide that needed hand-fiction for what made social-media culture commentary in this new age a 'society-thing' of inventions in photography...or worlds (even those of 'once' bloody-murder)!
