Amnesia: Cop/Thief {Windy City}

Narrated 'claim' of a Homeland blood-diamond detective who 'skirts' the two-faces of street-traffic view (crime/law) of an 'examination' for walls (for all).

I have an unusual story to tell for this Windy-City. My name's Amlan Satan and I'd been a police-detective with a fresh look into the modern problem of blood-diamond smugglers-highway linked 'chess' in the Homeland city creating new forms for capitalism-race 'troubles' stemming from Sierra Leone when I was knocked in the head by a 'gargoyle' and got temporary amnesia and was 'tricked' into thinking I was part of the criminal enterprise of blood-diamond traffic and became a rather 'skillful' Artful Dodger for a time for 'discovery' of the social-media culture of personality 'commentary' in this city of wills. Follow along!

I began as an idealistic cop in the Windy-City and grew to embrace the aura of this Homeland 'place' for my special insider consciousness regarding the value/word of blood-diamond corruption infiltrations concerning the 'character world' of treasure-securities work for the post-9/11 era, as it pertained to the integrity of consumerism-world readings (for all!).

When I got temporary amnesia, I was 'tricked' into thinking I'd been a blood-diamond 'minion' of the Ion-company for years and was cultivated for a special bank-heist in the Windy-City during which I was masked/geared with an acid-filled water-rifle for a theater-stunt concerning gem-insurance terrorism in this new time of confidence/heat for the Homeland weakness (wow).

It was at a Windy-City eatery during which I was dining with my underworld girlfriend (Ezzy) when I (suddenly) got my memory back and realized I was 'tricked' into becoming a thief of blood-diamond lore in this Homeland. Ezzy asked me, "What's your personal magic of being a thief-of-skill?" when I suddenly brain-froze and thought about my thoughts concerning the 'skill' required to prosecute the rascals of blood-diamond darkness in the Windy-City and remembered my years of education at crime-fighting. I stood up and simply walked out the restaurant and never looked back on what I'd been 'tricked' to becoming for the gem-underworld enterprise (ha).

INTERPOL: "Blood-diamond corruption (today) threatens the world-gem exchange and makes (rogue) terrorism-finance(s) woe."

Ten years later, I find myself married to Shelbye O'Hara, a Windy-City librarian and with a darling son (Damian) for whom I decorated a college-media fanfare team-color designed bedroom, to foster in him a special social-media culture 'handshake' patriotism concerning the energizer-IQ of Homeland spirits/word. Maybe I should write a book about this entire experience of cop-thief wills.

EZZY: You're a really good thief, Amlan Satan.

ME: I know...that bank-heist (with the acid-gun) was a 'theater' for word(s).

EZZY: What's that 'skill' invoking your 'confidence' for Windy-City reading?

ME: Hmm...I get this 'funny' feeling (now) my brain-art's (all) working.

EZZY: Did you not 'think' of that superstition-turn(s) of art's wheels (for you)?

ME: I don't know...maybe it's (all) wood-cutting.

I won't forget my time with Ezzy, my 'temporary-amnesia lady-friend' of the criminal enterprise/underworld of Windy-City lore, but my 'discovery' of the dark-side of blood-diamond insurance 'consciousness' in the post-9/11 era Homeland forged (perhaps) in me that special 'superstition' view of what makes treasure-work and confidence-writing a unique 'chance' to link our magazine-culture of fortune-readings with that American 'expression' of purely diligent wish-crafting (for the Ego).
