Baseball's Homework

Baseball's Homework

A Story by Abishai100
"

A sports-writer presents a series of 'superstitious' American baseball-cards for a capitalism-race 'handshake' concerning (real) watches.

"
A baseball fan-vignette about cards/treasures and the 'insurance' of American/Homeland working, drawing (loosely) on the superstitions-wording themes from the 'cool' American sports-fantasy film Mr. Destiny (Michael Caine), which I think you'll like,
DISCLAIMER: This work of sports 'fanfiction' contains images/references/baseball-cards with no commercial/explicit ties to any representative person(s)/body and is therefore cast as purely a 'personal' exercise in creative wording (for 'open' social-mapping).

AMLAN SATAN: "I've envisioned a 'magic-watch' for consumerism/media treasure-casting in the cyber-platform for a capitalism-race hospitality handshake and therefore a superstitions-chess 'ideation' for all that's simply a Homeland hyperbole (for wordings!)."

Amlan Satan had already won the Pulitzer for his searing portrait of post-9/11 era Homeland (American) sportsmanship (baseball!) that drew in us (all) that special capitalism-race 'handshake' concerning the superstitions/securities in this age of 'inventions' in traffic-wind story-writing, and he'd found interest among various modern 'worldly' investors/fans thinking brightly of what made social-life a 'confidence' art for Western machinery (for 'education').

Now, the toasted sports-writer in the States sought to create a cyber-representation of what made sports (baseball!) cards a social-life 'thing' of great superstitions-expression for modern social-media culture and American culture/life, thinking which of his life-collected 'trophies' of the great field bat-and-ball game of running/teamwork/runs/pitching would comprise his fantastic view for what's securities/myth in modern word(s).

He regularly visited a (very) special American baseball-card store in the Homeland-Jersey (Haddonfield) 'market' of life-culture treasures/goods and sought to trade/order/buy special trophy-items, distinctive or signature-cards that would 'catch' his imagination about why treasure is inimitably linked to this modern Western conception of all that's (purely) readings.

CARD 1: "A Ken Griffey (Fleer) card said to reflect what's simply an American view of competitive excellence and father-son inheritance for the baseball-image of both excellence and materialism."

CARD 2: "An Upper-Deck fantasy-gem of the famed one-handed American/Angels pitcher (Jim Abbott) who'd made baseball 'art(s)' a thing of great incomplete-distances to sportsmanship-superstition...and handshakes."

CARD 3: "A Lenny Dykstra (Philadelphia Phillies) Upper-Deck diamond card representing why sports-fanfare and writing in the East Coast makes for pronunciations in ambition as well as watches (for all)."

CARD 4: "A rather 'cool' Cubs/Maddux pitcher-card (Topps) featuring the image of developing career in what had become for fans/writers that 'excellence' in the 'science' of pitchers' wage for mythology."

Wow, what a treasure-set for Homeland securities/confidence in this post-9/11 era American 'environment' of wrought media/fanfare 'excellence' (for all) Satan's 4-Card Pyramid had offered for the cyber-matrix! As 'Prince Amlan' reflected on the life-joys his work/casting had given him, while he was shopping in his Homeland-Jersey area as the World-Series (fast) approached. This was the American Dream...conceiving of how that classic American sport had imprints on everyday walkie-talkies (for the Ego).

AMLAN SATAN: If this game taught me/us anything (or everything), it's (simply) because our memory/treasures of this classic sport of bat-ball-glove extends to any good 'scholarship' concerning the beauty-magic, for Homeland's wish-morphology (for an American rate!).

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
