DC Snowman: American Reading

DC Snowman: American Reading

A Story by Abishai100
"

A traveling Ukraine-woman in DC-park for wintry meditation encounters a 'cannibal' with a Western message concerning (real) risk-matter.

"
A cannibalism-short inspired (loosely) the under-rated American neo-horror film Ravenous (Guy Pearce). Thanks for reading!

ALINA: Wow, after seeing this cool cannibalism-graphic American film, I'm all 'psyched' for my American travel-trip for winter and wish to write in my journal about snow-park 'examinations' and what's to be wrought from the Western capitalism-race 'environment' of (serious) existentialism (sure).

Well, our protagonist heroine from Eastern Europe (Ukraine) was eager for this first-time visit to America (DC) and in the winter, for a snow-park journal-write/examination about capitalism-race 'environments' in the Western world and hoped she'd find some cool reflection inspirations from her homeland 'study' of all things American/metaphysical (hmm).

What she discovered however was the stranger fellow who called himself the DC-Snowman, a somewhat eerie reference to some Xmas-cartoon about Frosty but with an edgy/dark tone, and he insisted to Alina, our Ukraine-traveler/writer, that she'd think of the 'necessity' of contemplating some rather 'deep' hues of capitalism-race existentialism, perhaps those extending all the way to the 'scholarships' for cannibalism-understanding (wow).

DC-SNOWMAN: "If you find this (all) worth-while, fair Alina, won't you think of posting on Washington/American social-media that 'personality' statement concerning dark humor(s) wrought from the face-net of Western materialism (hmm)?"

It had occurred to our fair Ukraine-protagonist heroine (Alina) that this unnamed 'DC-Snowman' was something of a 'sinister' existentialism messenger with a complexity-ideation of the scholarships for capitalism understanding that extended to darker imagery for cannibalism and self-gratification! Alina had no idea what she'd have to say to this wandering 'soul' who found her that trip to Washington enjoying the snow-land of DC's park area(s), but she knew she 'wished' to defend the backbone of Western/American thought, as this stranger fellow hoped to draw from her a social-media 'hand-expression' concerning that strange-tide of traffic-face wind (for the Ego).

ALINA: When/if I return home, I plan to marry and have a son/daughter.
DC-SNOWMAN: What will you 'gift' your child if it's a boy (son)?
ALINA: I suppose a 'cool' Western media-culture 'adorned' sports-bedroom!
DC-SNOWMAN: Alright; this is perhaps a 'catalysis' from capitalism-chess?
ALINA: Maybe you're right; but I 'think' there's 'design' in fortune.
DC-SNOWMAN: Fortune...not risk?
ALINA: Fortune (or risk) offers me the 'chance' to contemplate beauty!
DC-SNOWMAN: Beauty...not ambition?
ALINA: I suppose both are true; maybe what I really 'need' is sanity.
DC-SNOWMAN: You're a shrewd traveler, Alina; best wishes for design.
ALINA: Thanx (I guess).
DC-SNOWMAN: Don't forget my message...concerning capitalism's materialism.
ALINA: Alright (I think).
DC-SNOWMAN: Good (farewell).

JOURNAL (Alina): "After returning home, to Eastern Europe, I decided to post on the cyber-highway(s) a special 'comics-vigilantism' doodle sketch re-presenting our worldly capitalism-race fortune reading/ideation of that conceived (if dark!) notion of complicated ambitions/daydreams leading all the way to self-ruin...but (perhaps/arguably) back to risk-materialism (for the soul)."

"Capitalism is the astounding belief that the most wickedest of men will do the most wickedest of things for the greatest good of everyone" (John Maynard Keynes).
