Why'd Amlan Satan view Churchill-Downs (Kentucky) to make that wage for a blood-diamond baron (Ion-company) after completing his studies and becoming a 'natural' grifter with a pseudo-vigilante examination-chess agenda? That's the real question, for any (real) grifter is (simplified) self-thinking, and he wanted an enhanced gem-insurance market expression (for journals) and sought a 'clean' for an upstart-racer (Arklow-company) to make a co-investment statement with Ion (for the Ego/imagery).

He thought (firstly) to become a dentist but later decided a vigilante-hand would be in the card(s) had he become (instead) a 'natural' grifter, and despite his Algerian background(s), Mr. Satan was haunted by the omen-message of his departed mom (Nina) who explained, "To be a part of the human photo-graphic album, son, you've got to think like a 'double-man' of 'Western' materialism bread (and be wary for all)."

ESMERELDA: Why'd you want to 'rescue' me away from my company (Ion)?
SATAN: I'm a 'grifter' of the West/South, and you're my faerie-doll, Ezzy!

ESMERELDA: I remind you of your dear/lost mommy?

SATAN: I refer to her as mummy (sure).

ESMERELDA: What's this upstart-examination (Arklow-company)?

SATAN: Potential/certain/futures millionaire, Ezzy; for a magazine-world (IQ).

ESMERELDA: What's the lure for insurance co-talk(s) with my company (Ion)?

SATAN: All fare-rich; he'll play his own overground-media game for readings/IQ.

ESMERELDA: What makes you think he'll draw for a Wal-St. match, Amlan?

SATAN: Precision; all good things come to those who read (for the Ego).

ESMERELDA: Alright (thanx, Satan).

Well, Amlan Satan pulled-off the miracle and drew (Interpol-relation?) eye for the Ion-company (Kentucky) and managed to 'sweep-away' his doll, Ezzy (Esmerelda) in what became a 'deed' reflecting his certain examination right(s) for capitalism-race 'chess-stalemate' thinking. The grifter-consciousness is one of treasure-island intelligence and the 'field-of-nightmares' for work(s), and Mr. Satan (with his 'Ezzy') had become a magazine-reading 'student' for what'd become a Homeland age of 'bread' expression(s).

DAMIAN (Son): An Xmas-shopping cartoon-drawing (for me), dad?

SATAN: Excellence; it reminds me/mom of that 'past' fortune-mysteries (wow).

DAMIAN: I'll think of it as a cartoon-man for American bread.

SATAN: Cool (thanx).

What makes this tale of grifter-magic so special is the post-deed hospitality-reading Mr. Satan offered to Esmerelda, a diner-table chat for (Indian) luchi-bread that would remind them (simply) why capitalism-race 'chess' concerns the dukes/princesses of Homeland matter.
