Werewolf: Colorado Rocks

A man cursed by werewolf-mutation encounters an Aspen-lady of seemingly fare-rich hospitality but may contend with a 'matter' for bread.

AMLAN SATAN: Riding into Aspen (Colorado) draws in me a newfound spiritual hope, even confidence (for superstitious matter) that I'll find that remedy (finally) to my lycanthropy-malady (for the Ego); which will be better for my Selfie-posts (undoubtedly).

Yes, Amlan Satan, an Earth-prince wandering town-to-town, doing menial work, temp-jobs to earn modest motel-stays, had been bitten by a forest wolf and 'inherited' his werewolf-malady, a curse (really), every full-moon when the affable/pensive Algerian-American citizen of the Homeland would 'mutate' into a ravenous hunter-stalker, a werewolf! Despite this great depression, Satan was still a fan of social-media and Facebook-chess, and hoped to harness some optimism that he'd find a remedy in some town, with some counselor, and perhaps that'd be here/now in Aspen (Colorado), where he'd lay-to-rest his haunted memory of being a fuzzy terror under the moonlight sky.

DANICA: Welcome to this snowy town of skiers/boarders and artists/lovers.

SATAN: Thanx, fine-lady; you've stricken me as a lady of hospitality-reading.

DANICA: That I am, good man; maybe you'll visit me for a full-moon eve meal?

SATAN: Oh, well, yeah-right, the full-moon comes in 1 week (right).

DANICA: Are you the lonely sort, prince?

SATAN: Sometimes I feel that way (sure); I just got a job as a theater-usher.

DANICA: Cool; Colorado is cinema-quality (like me).

SATAN: Thanx (I'll post something on Facebook for ya).

Danica struck Amlan as a fine lady of Colorado, but Mr. Satan (Amlan) didn't know that she was bitten in the past by a wolf (too) and also 'negotiated' her lycanthropy-consciousness. However, Danica wasn't a 'brooding' regretful werewolf, but a rather mischievous (and evil) one. She hoped to lure Amlan Satan to her pad for a full-moon 'date' during which she'd transform...and bloody-murder the poor man. Was this the social media post Satan sought (here/now)?

DANICA: How'd you know I thought you were lying (to me)?

SATAN: I just want my problems put on others, but I love you (I think now).

DANICA: Werewolf-romance, sounds problematic, Amlan Satan.

SATAN: I had to confide in someone/sometime; it had to be you.

DANICA: Well, I read about this remedy/theory and happened to have some.

SATAN: Blueberry-lemonade (really)?
DANICA: Country-Time brand (specifically); their 'recipe' is blood-chemistry.

SATAN: Brain-cooling (wow); I guess I believe you're taking me seriously.

DANICA: Try some...don't be late for our date; I still think you're a good man.

SATAN: Alright (good for social media).

On the night of their next romantic encounter, the full-moon, Danica mutated into a werewolf and shocked the living-daylight out of Amlan. This was a curse (indeed), for Mr. Satan (Amlan) knew (quick) that Danica was a (really) 'evil' werewolf, one of malice/chaos in the spirit/consciousness. However, he returned the malicious favor with his own full-moon transformation and wrestled her to the ground of the forest where she chased him into and then scurried away.

AMLAN: "Aspen was cool; departing now after encountering a bound siren (Danica)."

JOURNAL: "Lycanthropy is one of spirit/deformity and darkness/mystery, and it's a 'bond-tale' for fortune-reading, and it's a curse of intelligence and fantasy, and it's a picture of endured nightmares (of adaptation-rigidness)...making for 'cool' media/bread."

Thus ends Amlan's story in Colorado, as he sped-off- into his new car for his new plan, to ride to Michigan, perhaps to try his wandering-hand at some substitute-teaching position (at a respectable high-school).
