Werewolf: Poconos

Wandering lycanthrope (Amlan Satan) finds himself in the Poconos as a cyber-blogging area/temp cop and contending with a bad-beast of 'area' darkness!

Amlan Satan had wandered into the Poconos (Pennsylvania) to continue his 'escapist'-life from lycanthropy depression, transcending his full-moon 'plight' of real-life werewolf-mutation (a bio-condition acquired from a black-wolf bite in the Pine-Barrens) by simply seeking odd-jobs town-to-town (and avoiding werewolf-fights and evil-tangles) and sometimes contending with bad-guys as a 'semi-hero' of the Americas. Well, in the Poconos, Amlan hoped to get a quick-temp position in the police-station, serving as a vehicle-driving rounds-patrolman until midnight (when he'd become a werewolf under the full-moon!) and meanwhile using his cop-station (office) laptop to make some 'patriot' themed sportsmanship-tales, using a 'cool' Sabatini (Argentina) youth-fanzine oriented 'trophy' image/item, a Homeland (NY) memoir of the upstart-athlete's 'defiance' of the invincible Graf (Germany) in the 1988/1990 US-Open Final(s). This was quite a 'copland' patriot-position of a 'suffering' lycanthrope for the American environment (and social media!).

CLARICE: Good to have you here working with us (Poconos), officer Satan.

AMLAN: I love it here, in the station, making rounds, in the Poconos!

CLARICE: Loved your little Sabatini-defiance/superstition cyber-tale.

AMLAN: Thrilled to write it; loved sports (all kinds) as a teen/kid.

CLARICE: Don't play now?
AMLAN: Nah...just memories, now just living/dealing/wandering!

CLARICE: New fan of social-media, I see!

AMLAN: Playing my 'hand' at society participation.

CLARICE: Did you hear of that bloody-murder, Satan?
AMLAN: No, I was busy posting on Facebook in my office (wow).

According to Poconos 'area' gossip/chat(s) online, this murderous crime had the bite-marks of some dreadful animal but of some real 'extra credit' strength/prowess. Amlan Satan now feared the worst after investigating in his cop-truck and interviewing residents of the Poconos. He was (now) suddenly worried the culprit behind the deed of Hell was a werewolf, of a bad photo-graphics.

CLARICE: You've requested use of the cop-truck post-midnight?

AMLAN: Yes, Clarice (thanx for asking); I'm investigating that murder.

CLARICE: Good; but any 'full-moon' date-selection significance(s)?

AMLAN: You know of those reports/claims of an 'animal' pattern of bite?

CLARICE: Yeah, or a psycho who wished to make it look like a beast-IQ!

AMLAN: Never cry werewolf (right).

CLARICE: Good luck, Satan!

AMLAN: I might need it (thanx).

Amlan Satan found the werewolf behind the crime (Poconos) that full-moon night roaming/tracking in his cop-truck, hoping (honestly) he'd evade mutation (as he'd sometimes/miraculously be able to on some nights of fortune/escape!) and simply find the beast-man responsible, mutated in the full-moon light(s). He did. It was a werewolf indeed, an evil one. However, Amlan mutated inside his truck, unfortunately, since he left his moonroof open accidentally. He leapt out and lunged at the spotted werewolf-man (creeping in the Poconos woods) and fought with him for 30 minutes, and killed him/it.

CLARICE: What's this child-like Wolfen-doodle (on your website)?

AMLAN: A 'toast' for the disposal of that beast-killer.

CLARICE: Sad he tried to use a flamethrower at you (ok).

AMLAN: He burned himself (to ashes), Clarice!

CLARICE: All's I wanted to know, but good fortunes.

AMLAN: In deed; so this werewolf-kid doodle is a Halloween-fable.

CLARICE: Clears the consciousness, eh?

AMLAN: And the proverbial language.
