Well, Amlan Satan and Ezzy Harris truly were the 'Grifters' breed of capitalism-race 'chess-stalemate' maestros seeking this hand-write for fortune-readings through a gem-baron coinvestment 'examination' tied with an 'upstart-race' company (Arklow) arguably/perhaps destined to become a millionaire-bond! However, Amlan had to do one job, inside the gem-showcase safe of the horse-race aristocrat-glass box where Ion sat drunk, costumed as a 'mime' with a silent-theater for water-gun juggling (with one of the guns loaded with acid for the safe-burn and gem-swap in old Grifters-heroics style, as his dear/complex departed mummy --- Nina --- would compliment). Wow, this was good for social media, and post-9/11 era Homeland 'incomplete-distances' to commerce/vanities securities for the 'modern' patriot/journal-writer.

AMLAN: Well, we're quite the newborn Romanticism-pair of ravens?
EZZY: Surely, Mr. Satan.
AMLAN: You're (so) much like Nina, Esmerelda.
