Bucharest Work Leave*

A Story by Abishai100

A world-transit 'portrait' (Romanian) offering a smiley-handshake for mod-Earth travel consciousness with affability and (simply) weakness.

"
A 'snapshot' of world-transit affability/metaphysics, drawn loosely from that exquisitely-delightful foreign-exchange film European Vacation (Amy Heckerling). Thanks for reading (and happy holidays to you!),

Friends, I had quite the memory from my Romanian adventure/vacation while traveling there in the autumn of '23, and that's what this recount concerns, for which I found some rather nifty online photos from varied sources of European transit/travel, and I think this quality of foreign/exotic exposure to a foreign/exotic culture reminded me there's much amenity in the mod-Earth of 'incomplete-distances' to traffic/commerce securities in our modern 'climate' of antisocial terrorism (for photo-synthesis!).

Romania is not anything like the United States of America. It's the place of great color and offbeat culture and re-presentations of social life/rituals imprinted onto other-worldly rustic costumes and dress, and it's where Transylvanian accounts of the myth/legend of Dracula arose, and I was traveling there alone that autumn of '23 and was exposed to that culture and returned by American Thanksgiving! I met a beautiful Romanian woman (in authentic dress) named Nicoletta who reminded me of a certain American 20th-Century musician and we shared bread, laughter, a touch of Romanticism, and Romanian-transit consciousness, and I promised I'd visit her (again!) if I returned to Bucharest (perhaps as a businessman rather than a traveler/photo-maker).

NICOLETA: World needs much for change; we have much here in Romania for soul!

When I got back to the States, I ran to a toy-store since it was (now) the holiday consumerism-season(s) and wished to procure a handful of toy-gifts for my sister's kids, my nieces (Nora/Sive) and create a special hospitality-reading for a world-transit man who'd just seen the 'exotic' tones/colors of a 'richly' wondrous land like Romania, home of Transylvanian-lore and the emerged new age modest success of the Tarom airline company. It's the capitalism 'flair' for storytelling that made my Bucharest-wonderland examination a thing of great hand-write for Earth-consciousness, and despite the fact that the toy-store clerk (Jamie) was a real jerk while I was nervously selecting American-return holiday-season toy-gifts for Nora/Sive, I found that American-return 'blessing' to be an American citizen of Earth (ha).

My name's Amlan Satan, and what I came to love about Bucharest/Romania and world-exchange for transit-travel is hospitality-readings of comforts and confidence for securities and interest in this new age of terrorism-paranoia and piracy-concerns for commerce-destabilization securing our globalism-rhetoric 'linked' social media 'handshake' culture of calm happiness. In deeds, I found my Bucharest-wonderland 'examination(s)' a hand-write for what made our American/Western 'Selfie-post' culture a personality-reading for investments in traffic, imagination, laughter, and bureaucracy (hmm).

SIVE: Uncle Satan, you like this soft (Indian) luchi-bread thanksgiving-diner?
ME: Absolutely, niece; it's a world-handshake treat (bread) for Earth's smilies.
SIVE: You'll take me to Romania (next autumn).
ME: If your parents are 'cool' with that, Sive; it'd be a (real) delight (for us).

If you go to Romania/Bucharest and decided to venture out to travel or see some things while on a stop-over flight-course through Europe, passing through that iconic Transylvania-country, consider the 'bread' of life as a hospitality-reading 'invitation' for what makes foreign-exchange a hand-write for things human, capitalist, social-media, familial, unusual, experimental, or even (purely) worldly. Happy travels and readings/writings for my friends and readers who may exhibit some 'Dracula' wish-craft.
