This is the story of Professor Amlan Satan, whose educational university-position (cognitive-linguistics field) in Michigan state excellence, belied some lost-hopes of sports-dreams/ambition giving-way to a part-time fencing-sport coaching-job for his American school. However, this story about the Professor isn't about fencing but about werewolves, which drew some rather 'nifty' social media commentary about lycanthropy and the 'education' behind lifestyle 'drawn' metaphysics (for the Ego). Follow along, folks.

Now an older teacher in the same university he began his career teaching, Professor Amlan Satan, was thinking-back on his early-days as an educator and his friendship with a linguistics professor (Liz) and his romantic relationship with a college-senior woman (Shelbye), who was not (incidentally) a cog/linguistics department student/member (which is a generally wiser distance-policy!). Liz was his confidante about his werewolf-condition, and he told her how he'd been bitten by a black-wolf in the forests near his alma-mater (Dartmouth), while camping as a senior-year student (spring-break) under a full-moon (alone). Shelbye was his sanity-friend and romantic-love and he had to reveal his mutation into a full-blown lycanthrope, which frightened her (honestly). However, it wasn't only the lycanthropy-condition that 'haunted' Professor Amlan Satan in this memoir but what it afforded him for his lost-dreams of becoming an Olympics-quality sportsman (fencing). Perhaps this 'memory' added a dimension of Homeland superstition-campfire for his Michigan state university which became his photo-graphic 'hologram' for drawn human 'race' materialism (for the soul!).

LIZ: You say you hide in the forest when you become a 'wolf' any given full-moon?
AMLAN: My friend, it feels like I need some isolationist-IQ for meditation/remedy.

LIZ: Sounds like such isolationism would afford you 'self-control' consciousness!

SHELBYE: You want me to believe (in) this insane hypothesis, sweetheart?

AMLAN: You'd rather believe me (now) than wait for my next moon-mutation(s).

SHELBYE: Jesus, a werewolf, Amlan...sounds like you've been reading psychology.

AMLAN: Look, hopefully, this will 'spin' into some 'helpful' social-media gibberish!

SHELBYE: Right (hmm).

JOURNAL: "When I was a teenager and then a college-student (America), I developed my 'uncanny' skills at the sport of fencing, but I suffered a horrid knee-twist which ended my career (as a senior); after being bitten by the black-wolf in a New England forest, I became a werewolf, and now as a Michigan state university professor/educator (and part-time fencing-team coach for my awesome school), I find my lycanthrope-'consciousness' affords me this 'enhanced' and extra-psychic intuition(s) for adaptation, flexibility, self-defense, confidence, and even swiftness in speed, and I put on my fencing-helmet (as a 'half-wolf') and stunned college-audiences displaying what became my newfound 'celebrity' status as a once-athlete turned wolfen-coach superstar-fencer, with a newfound 'guilt' for this 'unnatural' prodigy-skill...and I'm writing this (now) in the hope(s) that folks will read/consider the 'quality' of sportsmanship...perhaps as a 'scholarship' for what's (truly) a Homeland (American) social media 'competition-IQ' materialism humility...if only for 'educational' brains!"

The poor Professor didn't know (now/then) what to do, and if he'd remain this coach-turned-celebrity fencing 'artist' of a Wolfen-consciousness, which (simply) raised much media-flair/glitter for his school/fans! Would he resort to returning to a life of humbled fencing-coaching and forego this werewolf-gift of genius? Liz advised him to do just that, to avoid the loss of his inner-soul at the expense of demon-indulgence(s), while Shelbye was (quite) proud of her new 'Werewolf-Man' of fencing-commentary by Michigan social-media citizenry/writers (wow).

SHELBYE: Remain the Wolf, and fencing will soar to new skies (for our school!).

AMLAN: And for America, and for Earth, and for our entire universe...gut it's bad.

SHELBYE: Well, I dunno what else to suggest...or how else to 'cheer' a werewolf.

AMLAN: Ha, that's a hilarious point, honey (thanx); maybe all's I need is art-therapy.

SHELBYE: Well, then, forsake your Wolf, and translate this 'examination' into art(s).

AMLAN: Man, that'd be better for everyone...especially the students of Earth!

SHELBYE: Alright...but I remain uncertain if I'd remain your girl, Amlan Satan.

AMLAN: I'd understand (that)...but I remain your 'friend' of nature-baldness!

SHELBYE: Ha (good for social media).

JOURNAL: "Reflecting back now, so many years later, on those days as a Wolfen-fencer, dazzling my ex-girlfriend (Shelbye) and worrying my cog-linguistics friend (Liz), I understand/learn that the quality of self-consciousness regards the decisions of self-control, and why (arguably) that 'life' decision not to indulge in werewolf-gifts for fitness afforded me that post-sports energy career in self-control, a return to humbled/happy coaching (fencing!), and my shared-time playing Othello/Reversi with Liz, meditating on the wisdom of space-borders...perhaps 'earning' my real celebrity-status as a humbled-man of teaching and sharing (for competition lines)."

LIZ: I'm proud of you, Professor.

AMLAN: Thanx...I hope you're equally proud of this homemade seafood-pasta, Liz.

LIZ: Are you being romantic suddenly, Amlan Satan?
AMLAN: Maybe I need a new lease on consciousness, Professor.

LIZ: Maybe (for a truer tempest).

Amlan made the right move (for himself) and as an older-wiser teacher in Michigan, developing his continuing wise-bond with his peer/friend teacher (Liz), he decided his memory of Wolfen-fencing and wrought humility for a return to coaching and a 'transcendence' of all things 'alien' created by the universe of the werewolf gifted in him a special 'religion' and in his social media reading fans/students a 'fresh' black-and-white sense of human 'race' worded (for the spirit).
