The Homeland quartet of would-be heroes, vigilantes, Amlan/Marcus/Ezzy/Danica prepped for this Redwood-test with this eerie invader (Creeper), a hat and trench-coat zombie with bat-wings wielding a Medieval battle-axes hands for Homeland (California) terrorism-paranoia/superstition 'feelings' and decapitation/vanishings symbolism, with special microfiche (library)  readings of post-WWII Roswell invasion superstitions and post-9/11 era Homeland superstitions about transit/traffic destabilization. That's how they came up with the theory that the Creeper was the Devil disguised for human-world terror/paranoia and perhaps a manifestation/reincarnation of an old-London imp of street/transit terror and superstitions known as Spring-heeled Jack (wow).

Wow, the Homeland vigilante 'exorcist' heroes, the self-named 'Reliables' (Amlan/Marcus/Ezzy/Danica) had wielded 'chess-stalemate' excellence in this presentation of Earthling 'matrix' language-arts for culture/intelligence confidence expressions for a Redwood-stand against the Creeper, who may've been Spring-heeled Jack or the Devil himself for a test for social/media happiness and securities concerning incomplete-distances to net/activity bureaucracy-readings for (shared) linguistics. They wielded the Liar's Paradox and their sports/media 'trophy' as exorcists after grounding the flying-leviathan with flare-light/gun and forced a self-exile 'humility' with their 'fantastic' wind for Homeland drumsticks (for all!).

The Reliables made 'toast' for their micro-celebrity Redwood-miracle with a world-exchange 'reflection' culinary-treat soft/zesty (Indian) luchi-bread thanksgiving-diner plate chat(s) and breathed relief at the (shared) knowledge that the axes-hands flying Creeper was now (forever) self-exiled to the deep-ocean abyss, and if he was Spring-heeled Jack reincarnated, the Reliables would adapt this 'miracle-secret' (perhaps!) into a social-media culture 'friendly' terrain/transit superstition 'fan-comic' about those incomplete-distances to life-comforts wrought from that sea of watch darkness (for all).
