Fathers & Folks

Fathers & Folks

A Story by Abishai100
"

Two pals from Dartmouth make a diagram of a meditation about competition/sportsmanship concerning one of the two, for 'folk' matter.

"
A superstition yarn about inventions in customs, sportsmanship, art, and d, inspired (very-loosely) by The Color of Money (Martin Scorsese).

AMLAN: Let's work-out this art-image for my time with pool and dad (sport).
RAKI: Sounds like a bureaucracy-reading art-line for social-media bread!
AMLAN: I recount the days of billiards strike prior to football-maze arms.
RAKI: Seems like a media-culture play for folks-and-fathers, pal.
AMLAN: Remember Dartmouth.

EMIT: Good plan for art-recount, sonny-lad.
AMLAN: I remember, well, sound-of-furies.
EMIT: Perchance I'm like Paul Newman (himself).
AMLAN: Sure, father.

The art-diorama was quite the sportsmanship-culture 'handshake' for materialism and consciousness, and it made Amlan/Raki cyber-circle(s) micro-celebs, perchance for a folk-reading about inheritances in chance/risk and the 'will' of competition itself (sure). Amlan remembered his days at Dartmouth, when fields-of-dreams made for that 'winning' image of all that's simply acquired by that ghost-magic dint of trained fitness, acquired optimism, and perchance (even) distance laurel(s).

AMLAN: This is Thanksgiving-TV culture trophy for beard(s).
RAKI: Perchance a special language-arts reading for what's sportsmanship-IQ.
AMLAN: We'll include it in our next-piece, pal from Dartmouth!
RAKI: What did your wife say?
AMLAN: No shock(s)...folks for fathers find features for friendship.
RAKI: Very cool (color of money).

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
