Superstition*A Story by Abishai100A portrait of a vanished man whose special Earthling-TV culture 'trophy' brought a special 'air' of (simplified) bureaucracy-distance.
A tale of needful things.
DISCLAIMER: This work of creative-fiction offers no ties/reference to any real-world news/story and is cast as purely a 'personal' expression of language-arts (for 'open' folklore). ---- ==== JOURNAL: "I'm Mr. Amlan Satan, and this Thanksgiving-football culture TV 'trophy' (a Detroit-city QB-rookie card gem of Super Bowl premonitions 'leviathan') cast me as a Selfie-culture librarian of those incomplete-distances readings of bureaucracy's special traffic/superstition faces (for Hell)." ![]() What ever happened to Mr. Amlan Satan, a man of Homeland-Jersey sports-superstitions writing (online) brought him to a special (signed!) Thanksgiving-TV culture trophy (football rookie card!) with Super Bowl 'premonition' that in-turn drew in a 'stranger' with a deadly eye for both envy and wrath, for American distances? We don't know. We don't know if the report of suicide (wrists) was not bloody-murder post home-invasion, but we do know his Thanksgiving-football 'trophy' (now) belongs in a Homeland exhibit (for examinations). ![]() POLICEMAN: He had this basketball chess-set. NEIGHBOR: He loved sports diagrams, so maybe the culprit is a sports-liaison? POLICEMAN: Did he have 'buddies' over for football-Sunday (television)? NEIGHBOR: No, no, he always watched games on Sunday alone...no visitors. POLICEMAN: Very stranger. ![]() It was Halloween season when Mr. Amlan Satan vanished and then turned up, dead, in a warehouse in North Jersey, but it wasn't known whether he was dead in the warehouse or carried from his suburbia-home (Echelon) by (another) masked-stranger who didn't have anything nice to offer for trick-or-treat doorbell ring(s). This became a Facebook-superstition. Why Thanksgiving? ![]() JOURNAL: "They say my home studio for sports (football/soccer) superstitions-writing is ideal, and I can't wait for Halloween trick-or-treaters, and I've already posted online I'll be ready in a Michael Myers type-mask from Oct.-15 onwards for anyone (actually) interested in pre-Halloween candy-conversation(s) with a stark sports-superstitions writer...I'm becoming a host!" ![]() Whoever the culprit/stranger was who rang Satan's doorbell that 'dark' October, he must've read his superstition-story about that Thanksgiving-football TV-culture 'trophy' (a Lions-rookie treasure!), signed, and ironically didn't take it from his home, which is why it was 'retrieved' during the house-search following the discovery of his body in that Jersey (North) warehouse (hmmm). ![]() WAITRESS: He loved coming in here to order the clam-chowder. POLICEMAN: Manhattan/New-England? WAITRESS: White fellow. POLICEMAN: Right-o; well, he loved talking about that Detroit-QB card? WAITRESS: Something signed (yeah!). POLICEMAN: Sounds depressing...but maybe it was suicide (writers). WAITRESS: Sucks (thanx). ![]() Prior to Mr. Amlan Satan's horrid-displacement(s), he was found in the local Homeland-Jersey library where he liked visiting to read books to kids (wow). He wasn't especially interesting, but he was a brilliant reader/writer of the American variety, emigrant from Algeria, grown into a USA East-Coast laurel for bureaucracy-readings (hmmm). ![]() DETECTIVE: All's well that ends in a cemetery. POLICEMAN: Let's just write-off as suicide, pal. DETECTIVE: Temptation...but this was bloody-murder. POLICEMAN: Superstition...'bad' Facebook like. ![]() JOURNAL: "My idealized offering for Thanksgiving's consumerism-season pre-Xmas capitalism-race iconography, an 'Evil_Elf' avatar-parody doodle for all that's superstition for transit, traffic, tickets, teleology, and temperance (for bureaucracy's taxes)." ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
