Exorcist: House Bowl

Portrait of American struggle, between father/son, revealing a window-IQ for what's life's 'dark' quartile.

A father-son vignette. Happy V-Day!

Amlan Satan lived in his townhouse with his alcoholic father Emit and continued to work on his sports-comics writing and arts and lived off some of the royal-treasure assets of his family from the East. The house was modest and sufficient for living, and father/son had enough of a retirement egg for Amlan to live modestly with modest cyber-followings and readership of his sports-superstitions comics writings/arts. However, the estranged relations between father/son moved Amlan to visit church every Sunday for spiritual counsel.

PRIEST: Perhaps a Facebook like for real-estate windows (consciousness)?
AMLAN: That sounds like good note, Father; I'll look into it (thanx).
PRIEST: Be wary of father-son angst on Earth, for it shatters a window.

JOURNAL: "What should one do, if one is like Bazarov from Turgenev or Bart Simpson from TV or Mozart from Forman's Amadeus-film and finds that tangled branch angst for divisions inside one's own home, when father/son relations become estranged, requiring direct address of religion...or exorcism (for Facebook like?)?"

EMIT: I drink because I'm no poet, sonny-lad.
AMLAN: Drink and be merry, but blessed are the peacemakers, Emit.
EMIT: You sound like that narrator/protagonist from your sports-shorts, sonny.
AMLAN: We need help, Emit; perhaps a trip to Vegas or Hollywood (for summer).
EMIT: I'd rather die.
AMLAN: Continue in our (Echelon) townhouse, Emit; I need a magazine-digit.
EMIT: You need celebrity-escape.

Amlan did escape. He fled to Europe (Romania) and found a mail-order-bride (Esmerelda) to build a completely new life with, and he did. Wow, who said exorcism had to be (simply) bureaucracy-readings? Amlan Satan found what America wouldn't offer, in that Echelon-town (house) shared with Emit who vanished from his life. For Amlan, religion had become a 'canvas' for (simplified) leviathan (Facebook like).
