Why'd two special media-world 'characters' (one a social-media eco-capitalism blogger; the other a major movie-studio personnel-figure invested in the mod cyber-culture of Selfie-commentary for storyboards about 'accessible' materialism-arts for movie promotions) become part-time teamed (secret) private-detectives for-hire in the American Homeland of 'incomplete-distances' readings to transit/residentialism securities for lifestyle/consumerism confidence? Was it perchance because Earthling-traffic was now 'defined' by the quality of life 'drawn' socialized photo-synthesis?

The two characters, Amlan and Marcus, decided to stake-out a certain suburbia-town (Homeland-Echelon) home from which they got a cyber-call from a teen claiming his emotionally troubled/alcoholic father (Emit) had begun to make disastrous threats about threatening/troubling any lady-teen girl-friend the boy would invite over for dinner/romance if she wasn't an immigrant like the boy and his father (Emit).

AMLAN: This seems like a Facebook like house, pal.

MARCUS: I doubt we'll get 'stark' clues, lest we simply wait and watch (for signs!).

AMLAN: Will make for a 'dashing' cyber-fable about inventions in domestic religion.

MARCUS: Perchance he'll come screaming-out running one night about girls (hmmm).

AMLAN: Any leads, from neighbors/merchants about Emit, Marcus?

MARCUS: I got one 'hint' from a news-stand merchant that he's Facebook like dreamer.

AMLAN: An alcoholic who (secretly) looks for home-photos on social media?

MARCUS: Whatever floats your boat for cyber-definition (cinema?).

This Emit was a real character (in deeds); turns-out one night, he decided to dress-up like a devious clown, dance around with luchi-bread hospitality theater-performance, in front of his teen-son who called Amlan/Marcus (who called themselves online the Mystery-Watch Men!), Teddy, and revealed in horror(s) that he'd decapitated at least 10 policemen, declaring himself as the Phantom of the Opera (for bureaucracy's deeds).

TEDDY: My Thanksgiving-TV (football) culture Bowl 'premonitions' trophy/card, father?

EMIT: I want you to burn it, boy (now!).

TEDDY: Well...sounds like you need some home-life assistance, for (shared) life.

EMIT: Find it; or run-out (now!).

Teddy ran-out his house on the night of this eerie/dark chat with father Emit and into the waiting/watching car where Amlan/Marcus continued to perform their stake-out for clues/cues and drove-away to explain the matter to authorities, about one month before Emit was admitted into psychiatric-incarceration.
