AMLAN: This is a high-stakes case for two street-cops, but we've got the command.

RAKI: Chief's put faith in us (here/now); we'll keep snooping and leave detectives out.

AMLAN: Sounds like Facebook like.

RAKI: This serial guy likes removing thumbs from victim-corpses (bad city evolution).

AMLAN: He's a real John-Doe, Raki; thank God we're like Facebook like.

RAKI: Good (bureaucracy-readings).

The city was hot, and the night teethed with corruption, and Officers Amlan/Raki were the best-defense against crime, simply because they 'caught' the best face of what the American Homeland boasted more than any other place on the fare-rich Blue-Planet...organized policework. Sure, the cultures around the good-Earth had much to offer like fried-rice and relics, but in this city, Amlan/Raki, American born ethnic-minorities with hearts-of-silver, reminded (all) why this country's cities offered news reflecting the organization of stations (police). This was a 'good' Facebook like.

AMLAN: Why thumbs (victims)?
RAKI: Isn't it obvious...handwriting...symbolic gesture of handicap...mocking life.

AMLAN: Mocking evolution is the tune, no, Raki pal?

RAKI: I say he's hiding in an abandoned warehouse, after-hours, making sculptures.

AMLAN: That's excellence in beat-language detective study, Raki; let's pursue for IQ!

RAKI: We'll get laurels for this one...Thumbelina.

AMLAN: The Devil's Advocate (shoot).

Sure, Amlan/Raki had the 'good' beat on 'Thumbelina' and the city felt safer (surely), since the news-TV broadcasts reflected the upbeat curiosity the two excellent street-cops offered to the American Homeland for 21st-Century bureaucracy-readings (wow). However, Amlan had other problems, since Internal Affairs was investigating some 'insider-case' he'd been tied with concerning incomplete-distances to some UK-diamond smugglers rings info he sought some 'extra credit' understanding for, claiming some eco-capitalism 'conscience' for dowry photo-synthesis for Euro-welfare (art?).

INTERNAL AFFAIRS: Like jewelry on kids, Amlan?

AMLAN: Hey, hey, hey...you're 'good' to guess I'd be curious about Xmas-shopping.

INTERNAL AFFAIRS: Soft-spot for dowry, eh (ha)?

Officer Raki'd felt relieved his best-pal (Amlan) was cleared of any eco-capitalism 'vigilantism' feather or quill, and the two made toast of the micro-miracle nabbing of 'Thumbelina' with a late-Friday diner meal of chicken-pie, recounting why cop-tales in the American city simply revealed the texture (or taste!) of Western 'worldly' doughnuts for sanity and order (for all?).
