Father/Daughter: Exit Art

Father/Daughter: Exit Art

A Story by Abishai100
"

Amlan and baby-teen darling-daughter Danica consider life's shapes and interest in Boston-town park and make for a 'discovery' in the motion of Earthling-breakout.

"
A father-daughter 'expo' loosely inspired by the enchanting Dutch-short Father and Daughter (Michael Dudok de Wit).

Amlan wanted to take Danica to the Boston-town park every Saturday-AM from here on, after he'd discovered her special love of the Nature program of animalia/flora life on Earth and wanted her to find journal-IQ for everyday access to the image of organic life on the fare-rich Blue-Planet in our pronounced Selfie-culture of bureaucracy-readings for traffic/transit/hospitality readings (for the Ego).

DANICA: I watch cartoons Saturday mornings, father.
AMLAN: I know, I know, but you can record the cartoons and watch when we get home!
DANICA: You want me to take my journal and write 'stuff' about the town-park (mornings)?
AMLAN: Trust me, Danica...this'll be way 'cooler' than Spongebob and Facebook, ok.
DANICA: You want me to become a writer or anthropologist, don't ya?
AMLAN: You're bright...it'll help you get over the departure of mom (Shelbye).
DANICA: Oh, dad; you've got a way to make Facebook 'feel' less cool than it is (alright!).
AMLAN: Thanx (for us!).

After the park-visits, dad-Amlan had decided to make a jaunt to the local/nearby cemetery, not every Saturday but every alternate Saturday, so just twice-a-month, and during these grave-visits, he liked encouraging darling-Danica to think about if pensive AM-excursions moved in her a special interest in creative (fiction!) writing or nonfiction (anthropology/nature) writing.

AMLAN: Think of the souls past, reincarnated, even 'shuffled' around; eternity or stats?
DANICA: Facebook-like (hmmm).

Well, after 5 months of this, Danica wanted a new video-game to 'indulge' in these new life/nature/creativity thoughts and sought-out a special warrior-woman cyber-avatar 'femme-fatale' for a buddy-consciousness and impressed daddy-Amlan.

AMLAN: You're thinking of foreign and exotic travel(s) or the art of engagements, Danica.
DANICA: Nah...perchance just the serendipity of fashion for bureaus.
AMLAN: You'd like a society-shifting novel like The Age of Innocence (Edith Wharton).
DANICA: Chun-Li is the coolest, Amlan.

Dad-Amlan suddenly felt like he wanted to feel immersed in self-discovery and curiosity alongside Danica and got himself a 'classic' 20th-Century JVC stereo-system (wow). What would he buy for music, he wondered, and what would he get as LPs, cassettes, and CDs, he wondered? While seeking/getting the collection if life-reflective pieces to catch the tones of his younger-life, and then selecting items for his new dad-daughter single-parent life, Amlan realized Danica had given him something no one else had --- that incomplete-distances readings to life's special 'bound' consciousness.

DANICA: Bills-QB trophy-treasure (insured)...and signed too (for ya!).
AMLAN: Geez, you knew I was a Buffalo wing fanatic?
DANICA: We're both learning about the 'link' between image and experience, Amlan.
AMLAN: You know, darling, you're helping me get-over Shelbye (finally!).
DANICA: That's the exit-art of the timeless father-daughter bureau...to 'perfect' data.
