Airplane 2024A Story by Abishai100An exit from the States for Euro-escape renders a funny-image of travel-consciousness and the '24 (21st-Century) bureaucracy-image of 'personnel' thoughtfulness.
Something that makes the iconic '80s air-transit experience-comedy film Airplane! (Robert Hays) so compatible with fanfiction writing is its peculiar/special spotlight on the funny-quality of human-psyche distances, which is why I like referencing it as fanfiction-diorama. Hope you like it,
---- ==== AMLAN: This airplane-'24 trip will be an idealized Euro-currency motion for transit-stories. RAKI: You need to take things more light, after returning from the Russo-Ukraine thing. AMLAN: Journalism's scarred me forever, pal; and this 21st-Century is terrorism-paranoia! RAKI: My ex-wife's on our flight, attendant, quite nice, and I'm seeking reconciliation(s). AMLAN: Facebook like? RAKI: It's a social media universe, but I prefer the historic magazine-bread, friend. AMLAN: Good luck! ![]() Amlan and Raki, pals from Dartmouth, had reunited for a special flight to Brussels and thought to make their airport-airplane 'examination' for transit-consciousness a 'matter' for Earthling-bread and fruit, and on-board, Raki (secretly) to reconcile with his estranged wife (Ezzy). Amlan, divorced, and war-traumatized, was happy to be having time-off from caring for his custody-won daughter (Lizzy) who was in boarding-school, and he was feeling ironically 'psyched' for this trip from O'Hare to Brussels (airports). AMLAN: Wow, this Windy-City interior's quite the photo-graphics for storytellers! ![]() EZZY: I can't believe you stalked me to this Belgian-journey, dead-beat ex-hubby! RAKI: Can't you feel like I'm seeking some consciousness for extra credit intelligence, hon? EZZY: Look, I'll be doing my in-flight rounds with professional-mindset; don't seek me out! RAKI: How can I respond to such a commandment-for-travel, when I've been dreaming of art? EZZY: Oh, so now you're willing to make that air-flight comic book about me like I dreamt? RAKI: I thought you were insane (for social media non-sense). ![]() However, for Amlan/Rak, this wasn't going to be a normal flight after all, for on-board were two rascals of modern Earth hellmouth(s), who put on their special 'theater' get-up in the lavatory, and then they emerged with their water-gun toys filled with HCL they made inside the bathroom, declaring an (incomplete) reroute to Antwerp or Swaziland (wow). Raki was too busy drinking and conversing long-time with ex-wife Ezzy who (somehow) seemed (suddenly) willing to entreat her ex-hubby's stranger proposition to render some commitment-art in her honor, during this age of traffic-terrorist design education (wow). ![]() INTERVIEW: You're such a hero-man of the skies, Amlan! AMLAN: It wasn't nothing, and besides, buddy-Raki was too busy chatting-away with Ezzy. INTERVIEW: One pal (from Dartmouth) renders heroics (antiterrorism); the other remarries! AMLAN: I wish I could say the same for 9/11 or Lockerbie, good-friend (ha). INTERVIEW: Still scarred about Eastern Europe? AMLAN: Nah, I've been daydreaming (recently) about that Belgian-flight on-board scenery. INTERVIEW: Perchance you'll write something...about the Urals. AMLAN: Nah...I'm headed to New Zealand with daughter (Lizzy)...forgetting personnel. INTERVIEW: Facebook like (thanx!). ![]() Amlan emerged as the real-hero of this funny-portrait of wrought magnified storytelling for air-transit, and he gifted his darling-daughter (Lizzy) a reflection airport play-set, and he assured her that, like his good-buddy from Dartmouth (Raki), he'd (somehow) find some Romanticism to soothe that natural 'beast' paranoia engendered by the memory-consciousness of human-world 'complications' points (wow). ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
