Decade Game: A Football Thimble

Decade Game: A Football Thimble

A Story by Abishai100
"

Can an Ivy-game (football!) draw special/magical 20th-21st Century media/network 'superstitions' for language-arts 'lead' for deferral?

"
A diorama-vignette about the special place of sportsmanship-storyboards in the media-age and traffic-journal age (late-2oth to early 21st-Century of lifestyle-drawn politics-for-bread/fruit!) drawn from the storyboard of the excellent American book The Game: Harvard, Yale, and America in 1968; Wikipedia-reference (Harvard-Yale 1968 football). Enjoy,

Amlan and Marcus hoped to cast a special inspired cyber-storyboard presentation of the iconic Harvard-Yale 1968 Ivy-League football game that rendered a miracle-comeback by the relative-underdog Harvard squad with a 16-point catchup in the last 42-seconds, rendering a final 29-29 draw-score in what closed out a 1960s decade-ending for sociopolitical upheavals and traffic/media 'drawn' culture intrigue for net-activity consciousness. Amlan and Marcus, pals from Dartmouth, hoped this Harvard-Yale rendering for the 1960s would offer Americans a cool-hologram of Selfie-culture (21st-Century) American Homeland interest for incomplete-distances readings for sportsmanship 'linked' democracy-developments 'examinations' for the Ego!

EXCERPT (Amlan/Marcus): "Colt captured the varied figures of the Game, and its Ivy-League ribbon(s) for the hot-'60s of great changes and thinking, and it reminded us why sports (football!) offers media-fans a special window into shared activity for democracy-development(s) in the American Homeland; and it caught that 'wind' for culture-sails, the design of that ornamented/troubled decade in the States (with the Vietnam War and the emergence of liberalism in great convenience-thinking for education and the surfaced consciousness for network-linked Western dialysis for dogma/superstitions); Harvard's miracle-comeback leading to that cool-draw (29-29) may offer us a hologram of how competitive games yield a 'light' for the bureaucracy-arts of metaphysics-definition (for all!)."

Well, friends, as you (maybe) have known, the Ivy-League is the prestige-capital of education toasts for the American Homeland, and the Harvard-Yale rivalry has become a synonym for clubhouse-cheers, and that 1968 'laurel' (29-29) capping a hot-'60s offered Amlan/Marcus, pals from Dartmouth, a special 'wind' for the composition of competition-language for reflection in network/traffic superstitions for social media intelligence (for all). This was Facebook like.

MARCUS: It's a cool world of sports-language for spaces in aliens and gods, no?
CRITIC: The cyber-representation of Colt's work invites a curiosity about the symbolism of the '60s?
MARCUS: Surely; in deed, those two 'field goal' teams represented a cross-section of culture-lines!
CRITIC: Perchance you augment this Colt-reflection with some 'street-fashion' ruler for art's diction?
MARCUS: I'll pass on the recommendation to my co-creator, friend (Amlan)...Facebook like!
CRITIC: Wonderful.

ADDENDUM: "There was high-art praise intelligence for the shapes of '60s-design for street-consciousness in developing democracy in the media age of incomplete-lines for shared interests, premonition-building(s) for 21st-Century ebullient commerce-structures exchanges for customs, and perhaps George Howe Colt has inspired in us (all!) a special art-design for the hybridization of metaphysics with the street-diamonds of democratic/cinematic shock-graphics dictionaries, if only for the 'education' of dialysis resurrecting the 'ghosts' and 'demons' of that time...or ours!"
