MARCUS: And confusion, pal; it invokes the cliched Devil's Advocate.

AMLAN: I know the subject, since I studied it in college and as a writer.

Amlan knew the real 'darkness' of steroids-use concerned the very real psyche-pressures felt by football athletes seeking an 'extra-credit' chance for simplified success guarantees otherwise more challenging/difficult because of otherwise more 'natural/inherited' physical adaptation meters/muscles. Marcus knew that the 'culture' of sportsmanship for media/bureaucracy/marketing fueled a natural-ambition reflected in the dangerous use of these (illegal!) performance-enhancing drugs (steroids), which incidentally made for interest in the 'chess' of athletics linked social-media attention (for the American Homeland!).

Calling himself Endymion, this conference-seeker connected with Amlan/Marcus (online) to evaluate their study/representation of the world-culture 'links' between sports-performance and 'cinematic' expressions of the raw adventurism/physique of sports-performance and audience/market dramatization(s). This would be a special conference (in deeds).
