I met my GI-Man in Saigon while working in a bike-shop in Vietnam. My name's Minmay and this is my (incomplete) not too bright faerie-tale, and it requires me to simply sing, and yes, sing, to myself and to you, of the man who left me with a shoe, to mail to him my sacrificed daughter for a better (American) life and left me, oh yes, with a ghost-image photo-image memory for song, yes for song...and Facebook-like (dialysis).

AMLAN (GI-MAN): A Vietnam war-diorama, for Miss Saigon, my bicycle-girl yes!

ME (Minmay): What a treat, you come to me, in this retreat, for GIs (Saigon).

AMLAN: Can't you see amidst this chaos, all we see (together!) is the lost?

ME: I surely do but I'm survivor for Saigon, I'm Miss Saigon; and we'll endure.

AMLAN: Because of you, and I must depart, but you will know where I'd live!

ME: That's how I'll know what I'd like to give (Facebook-like).

AMLAN: Medicine.

FRIEND: This man is trust-rich and likes (Western) field goals, your GI?

ME (Minmay): He entered like a dragon with optimism inside bicycle-store (IQ).

FRIEND: Seems this is the time-lock scene for what's consumerism's future!

ME (Minmay): Seems to me, he'll depart but not without a debt to my life.

FRIEND: Good light (Facebook-like).

JOURNAL: "Minmay was everything to me, and as precious to me as the Super Bowl, while I was serving consciousness-time as a war-character, and that 'air' of Saigon during the departure of our retreating forces, creating a desperation air of vertigo, cast my Miss Saigon as purely a messenger of what's (simplified) dialysis."

I enjoyed my Vietnamese soup after Amlan departed, and I dreamt of a way of collecting on his promised debt, to send my daughter to the States, so she'd study and attain a Princeton residency/laurel (wow). This was Saigon's saga for a love not-close/complete, between a GI-Man and a Vietnamese owl (sure).

BARTENDER: What will you remember (mostly) about Vietnam, pal?
AMLAN: A self-image of what's Earthling's 'field goals' for human pears (sure).
