Gremlins: Buffalo's Will

A NY-misadventure for magical-pet care affords two pals (from Dartmouth) a special language-line for all that's Earthling-dialysis.

AMLAN: Seems this Gizmo-pet from the Chinese-sage has us in care-mode.

RAKI: Pals from Dartmouth; Buffalo-NY Xmas; Gizmo-care; Facebook like.

AMLAN: What does Esmerelda make of (all) this, pal?

RAKI: My girlfriend's psyched it's an incomplete-lines 'IQ' for Buffalo's will.

AMLAN: Facebook-like (good).

Amlan and Raki, pals from Dartmouth, settled into their (shared) studio-house in Buffalo (New York) for sports-superstitions writing and received a 'gift' creature (pet-friend) called Gizmo but were warned by the presenter, a Chinese-eatery owner/sage never (ever!) to feed the magical tiny creature outside the noon-midnight time-zone/period. Well, they didn't take the 'matter' seriously and gave it chicken-pie bites post-midnight (12:15 am) one Buffalo-Xmas season night, as the yule-log eggnog became the signature for an (otherwise) normalcy for Earthling-shopping season and sports-TV fun (Facebook like).

SAGE: You fed it past 12?

AMLAN: Just a few chicken-pie morsels, since it was craving/watching.

SAGE: You'd been eating the pie, and you gave it 4 spoonfulls?

AMLAN: Yes, sorry; afterwards, it multiplied into...4 Gizmos.

SAGE: What happened to the other 3 'Gizmo' creatures, young fool?

What would the sage say when Amlan reported this revelation? The adorable (original!) 'Gizmo' was still affably friendly, but the 3 multiples ('Gizmos') then began to literally 'transform' (mutate!) into troll-like specters, of only slightly-larger size and menacing visage/demeanor. The trolls scurried out of Amlan and Raki's (shared) Buffalo-NY sports-superstition writing abode and scurried into the town (wow). That chicken-pie was about to feel like a curse, for the 2 pals from Dartmouth (damn!).

AMLAN: Look, there they are, Raki!

RAKI: Singing mock-carols in front of Buffalo-houses (yards!) in stolen gear.

AMLAN: Well...that sage mentioned they're frightened of HCL...cage-method.

RAKI: Let's chase them to the mall-fountain and use water-guns (HCL-filled!).

AMLAN: Sounds dialysis (Facebook like).

RAKI: Very cool (happy-Xmas).

ESMERELDA: You want my help?
AMLAN/RAKI: Just stand by the mall-fountain and sing; they like that!

ESMERELDA: Then you swoosh-in with water-guns (filled with HCL?).

AMLAN/RAKI: They'll be dazed-and-confused; we'll shoo them into tiny-cages.

ESMERELDA: Fine (Facebook-like).

SAGE: Good.
AMLAN/RAKI: We were bright, sir (thanx).

SAGE: Thank you, for returning the Gizmo (and the offshoot-trolls!).

AMLAN/RAKI: We're gifting you this treasure for apologies, sir.

SAGE: Wow, a Buffalo football (rookie) trophy (hmmm).

AMLAN/RAKI: Accept it as a token of our happy-Xmas gratitude/sorry.

SAGE: Fine (Facebook-like).

Esmerelda and Raki got married the following Xmas-season, and Amlan adapted the misadventure into a noir-superstitions 'pet-care' from the dark-side novel (appropriately!) titled Caring for Buffalo Wings, and he thought of how Raki and Esmerelda, now living (together) in their (own/shared) NY-pad, would make for conversational Rationalism for how the trio became (American Homeland) heroics-artists for social media 'faces' of distances within that NY shopping complex (cool).
