Across Border: IRA/FYI (Fiction)

A Story by Abishai100
"

Fictional account of a book-man of earnest pluralism-rhetoric interest for literacy whose 'move' to vigilante-image makes 'mark' of UK-read.

"
IRA dramatization/fiction.

I started thinking of the worries of pluralism life/commerce in the troubles-rich UK concerning IRA/UVF skirmishes after thinking on my own culture-backgrounds based interests in colonialism-economics in Algeria/India. I decided to become a Belfast bookshop keeper (Facebook-like).

CUSTOMER: Did you hear?
ME: The destroyer-image of the rumored smugglers vehicles of diamonds?
CUSTOMER: On the heels of the news of the bloody-murder of your pal!
ME: Maybe I committed this deed rumored to be tied to the black market.
CUSTOMER: Wow..."commerce corruption/murder moves a book-man to IQ."
ME: Hey, that sounds vigilante, and I'm only a foreigner turned book-man.
CUSTOMER: You've the sound of a 'turned' book-man (ha).
ME: Well, maybe this new makes some hard-copy work for our store, no?
CUSTOMER: Facebook-like.

The customer wasn't wrong here. I was a bookshop manager happily promoting pluralism street-life for Catholics-Protestants alike for daily-bread book offerings for world exchange/literary when one of my beloved customers, a young boy, was accidentally murdered in a crossfire tied with black market controls paranoia created by some 'rogue' IRA/UVF 'thing' in Northern Ireland (UK). I turned to vigilante-axes and destroyed some smugglers vehicles rumored to be wheeling-in even more conflict-zone gems to Belfast. No one was killed, as I removed the drivers at gunpoint and then generated detouring street-gossip that it was a skirmish-driven 'accidental' cross-war(s) 'tragic' loss of the vehicles with treasures of capitalism fiction.

CUSTOMER: This is beautiful, book-man.
ME: Well, I generated this fiction-avatar for our Belfast news storyboard!
CUSTOMER: Who's 'part' of this new 'Foreign' IRA, book-man (ha)?
ME: Catholics, mostly...not necessarily Irish, with blood-diamonds jar (ok).
CUSTOMER: Did you get orders for new books?
ME: Sure...Campbell's Blood Diamonds (Facebook-like).

I fled Belfast. "Troubles" always generate humility, even for a 'moved' book-man of the United Kingdom (ha). I moved to the East and married, an Indian policewoman (in irony!). I decided to keep my dark past a secret for fiction and instead began crafting a fiction-tale worth-weight for modern street-transit/hospitality 'jitters' for globalism-rhetoric (Age of Fractions: Police & Breakers). Would it win me the Pulitzer (Facebook-like)?

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).

The author exhibits an outstanding mastery of language, skillfully merging narrative techniques with deep thematic exploration. The integration of symbolism and imagery not only enriches the story but also encourages readers to explore its underlying meanings. The pacing is finely tuned, creating a narrative that builds tension effectively, while the character development remains complex and convincing.
