Twins: Kingdom-Shop (Omen)

A Story by Abishai100

Journeymen-work in the UK makes for expression/journal of things of leviathan/uncertainty and a 'ghost-image' of Western/American 'insurance' courage.

IRA-universe fiction (thanks for reading!),

Amlan and Ajay, twins of the American Homeland, Slovak-Algerian Bostonian-Catholic immigrants (now US-citizens!) made their trek to Northern Ireland (UK) for a journal-write about mod-Western woes outside Israel-Palestine for capitalism/globalism rhetoric but wouldn't anticipated the sort of 'ghost-magic' they were to find pre-return to the social media comforts of Earth in the USA (Facebook-like!).

They studied (together!) at Dartmouth (New England), and they wanted to find applications of understanding of Algerian/Indian colonialism woes in proportion to Euro-currency 'consciousness' pre-trek to the United Kingdom (Belfast), where Catholic-Protestant divisions stemming from years of 'troubles' post-partition of mainland/Catholic Ireland in the early-20th Century made for (very-special) Western lines of pluralism negotiations jars (for the Ego!).

The Satan-twins now found themselves hopelessly mired in some conflict-zone gems black market motions of 'rogue' finances in the underground of Belfast affecting youth Catholics-Protestant men displaced by coexistence 'angst' and moved to 'rogue' activity (e.g., IRA/UVF 'contests') and harnessed their childhood-years of pickpocketing-skill in Algiers to make for a 'dash' swap of blood-gems for a modern enhanced eco-capitalism 'consciousness' that would (effectively) 'snatch' Parliament's eye for economics-life (wow).

Their 'funny' deed now acquired/achieved, the Satan-twins had decided to vanish from streets-talk by spending hours in the Northern Ireland local-library, where they studied newspaper headlines and folklore-texts about Catholic/Protestant 'motions' for community and village events and campfires, positing themselves for their (eventual?) journal-write about Western folk-malady impeding a modern consumerism/globalism couture (sure). That's when they saw the ghost...in the library (hmmm).

SATAN-BROS: Go away, specter!
SPECTER: Relax, heroes...for my message is (only) television here/now.
SATAN-BROS: What manner of ghostly-crazy is this, specter (in library)?
SPECTER: I was a female 'agent' of Belfast...killed in my prime, heroes (ha).
SATAN-BROS: Now, you're a messenger, like the ghost of King Hamlet (huh)?
SPECTER: I want your return to America to couple with football/TV quills.
SATAN-BROS: What?
SPECTER: Notre-Dame TV...for a world sportsmanship exchange jar art, ok?
SATAN-BROS: Why us, specter (here in library)?
SPECTER: I've made 'mark' of you as brothers-of-art, heroes...don't fail me.
SATAN-BROS: Farewell (Facebook-like).

The Satan-twins did post-deed(s) return to their American Homeland and took-up their post-works journal-writes for Western campfires but couldn't forget that 'specter' they encountered for their prompt; Ajay wouldn't treat it normally (ever!) and decided to become a woods-hermit, working on a special journal of religion dividing sanity itself. He never returned. Amlan continued his post-work Irish/Western/American journal expressions, adding the football-sportsmanship culture-windows spice prompted by that UK-library 'specter' and meanwhile fell in love with a Boston-library librarian (Shelbye O'Hara) whom he'd (eventually) marry. Shelbye asked him about his past...but Amlan didn't say one-controversy about Ajay (or the IRA or ghosts)...but was this (simply) a social media 'universe' fear? What do you think?
