The Irish QB (Rick Mirer) eventually pulled-off the last-moments heroics for an Irish triumph; but the Lions QB (Kerry Collins) had mightily kept Paterno's teachings in-tune to keep Penn State close and eventually ahead in the late-moments of the game to require Holtz and the Irish to find some Earthling chandelier in the snow field (wow)."
