A New England pedestrian/lifestyle tale.

My movie-writer friend in California said if Martians spied on Earth, wandering around disguised as humanoids, they'd hide/prowl in NYC or LA; but I knew better...I knew they'd want to lurk in New England (Boston-town) for its social media colored-glass of things of everyday jellyfish (Facebook-like)." ![]() "Sure, I had it all in Boston-town. I graduated (Ivy League) and made $15M on Wall-St. during the '09 mini-crash (Ford); and I used my princely fortune/smiles to get into New England and find a quaint/iconic apartment, where I'd blog about my special Celtics fanfare and my gorgeous trading-card featuring a mod-athlete who brought a great feeling of winning-consciousness for his team, Derrick White. This is as much his story as it is mine, friends. Follow along (Selfie-like!)." ![]() "Friends, I had multiple trading-cards of cool American Homeland culture/comment value, and many of them happened to be American basketball cards, featuring great stars who shined nicely either/both in college or in the professional 'environment' of competition-symbolism for Earthling envy. I had many, and I didn't know at-first which one I'd blog about once I got to Boston-town, a place I spent 2 Summer seasons pre-graduation (ha). This was my American life/culture/psyche, and it was charm." ![]() "Sure, I had developed a lifelong love of sports and sports on TV; and I collected these sports trading-cards ever since I was a boy, living in a Homeland-Jersey area of suburbia-flowers (Echelon). Well, the card I chose post-move to Boston-town happened to feature a winning-feeling Celtics man who brought nice spirits for us fans of American Homeland sports-TV and superstitions of the cool New England patriot-variety (for jars!)." ![]() WAITRESS: Boston cream pie, for your snowy Xmas-time, darling. ME: Cool thing...check out my Celtics card, waitress. WAITRESS: Quite-nice...you been to the games or plan on it, hon? ME: Why, I wouldn't plan on it, unless of course, you want to accompany (ha). WAITRESS: How about a music-concert and then a Celtics thing (for the New Year). ME: That's holiday (Facebook-like). ![]() "Friends, Boston-town had seen much in its story/records; and I knew I wanted to feel right like I was fated to be there all along for my life and Selfie age. I knew there'd be moments of TV-culture spirits for fanfare and lyrics of American Homeland consciousness (for the Ego!). I knew my Celtics-card brought me closer to what made life on Earth something Martians would spy/sautee." ![]() "Ultimately, it was the Boston cream pie that made me feel like it was home for a human. I knew a Martian would want to prowl-around in such a city or place...prowling the parks, drinking coffee/tea, relishing the food and fans of sports...and maybe (even) reading these blogs of mine. Yes, friends...Boston-town was a blend of right-superstition for everyday things of charm. My Celtics card (therefore) made me feel like I was an energizer of (American) shining; and I'd eventually maybe even detect the presence of a Martian enjoying New England checkboxes for life." ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
