TEACHER: Look, that prop-accident during staging of The Gallows is an omen! AMLAN: I know my group of video-adventurist town-pals will make this town-art! TEACHER: Go at your own will and expense...there's spirit-cost here, Amlan. AMLAN: Nah...this is Selfie-like (ghost-hunters journal art for social media!). TEACHER: Maybe. ![]() Amlan/Marcus/Raki entered the old-theater in Beatrice (small-town) after-hours for a camp-night video-recording to complement their studio-concept of making an American Homeland tragedy-ghost story to complement the recent string of tragic American soil high-school shootings; but they didn't heed the omen-warning of the town-teacher who insisted the prop-accident during the production of The Gallows produced a specter-paranoia worth its weight in some land-curse and advised them to scrap their ambitions. However, Amlan had an intention to make the camp-adventure recording to find the sighted ghost of the killed actor of The Gallows to impress his Hollywood (California) lady-friend (Laurie)...Facebook-like for a 'cinema' keratin (damn). ![]() AMLAN: So, we made small prank to leave scraps of paper before hide-and-seek. MARCUS: This is eerie; the scraps of paper we now find after-hours with doodles? AMLAN: What, the rumored Gallows-ghost scribbles art to freak-out 3-campers! MARCUS: Not funny, Amlan; we should've heeded that omen-talk by the teacher! AMLAN: What, we'll find some "weird Headless Horseman in this town-theater." MARCUS: Worth impressing your Cali-angel lady-court friend, Amlan (huh)? AMLAN: Selfie-like (for ghosts). ![]() The trio should've heeded the stranger talk of the town-teacher; for there was a 'specter' in that theater, a scarecrow-mask wearing zombie, the ghost of the killed actor accidentally dead because of a prop-accident during the production of that town-play inside that building, a stranger-specter who'd been spotted by some staring outside windows in daylight, in his bag-mask...perhaps for a Halloween keratin (social-media). ![]() MARCUS: Now this dead-woman body with blood, inside this Gallows-building? RAKI: We get out of here as soon as feasible, pal. MARCUS: Amlan's running around looking for that scarecrow (now). RAKI: This Gallows-ghost has psychic-power...I'm worried, pal...we cursed. MARCUS: This body is a dark secret...if we incinerate it (ashes), the ghost smiles. RAKI: That's good-theory...this ghost's playing some club-game with us (media). MARCUS: We can't fail (right?). ![]() AMLAN: I was friends with the person killed in The Gallows, fools. MARCUS/RAKI: What...you lured us in here for a bloody murder (prank)? AMLAN: I brought Halloween-season egg cartons for art (ha). MARCUS/RAKI: Damn you...you're like this specter's minion. AMLAN: Nah, just his 'associate' of Hell, fools (ha). MARCUS/RAKI: They'll catch you, Amlan you sinner! AMLAN: No way, I'll end up in Hollywood. ![]() The vanishing (apparent) of Marcus/Raki stunned the small-town of Beatrice; but Amlan had no information and insisted they were separated fleeing from the specter-scarecrow 'ghost' from The Gallows during that overnight 'adventure' of darkness. Amlan did go to California...but maybe he invited the 'scarecrow' to go there with him (for a sequel). ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
