Amlan returned home safe after venturing into the alleys-and-streets of Transylvania with Marcus, but Marcus was downed by one of the vampire-specters they encountered for examination in Europe (damn). Amlan stewed about this modern Earthling tragedy-feeling at his Inn-Express rest-stop in the American Homeland post-return to the happy States and wondered if he'd regret the 'misadventure' in Transylvania despite resolving to adapt the entire blood-immortals study-for-keratin into a 'field goal' novel concept he resolved to (ironically!) title Hostel Kings: Vampire Regrets Knucklebones.
