"I returned from the Afghan War as a decorated/injured soldier, ready to rehab to get back to my work as a post-office man, before I discovered my darling bride, Esmerelda, had turned to the dark-side, simply impatient with my return to normal Earthling social media and commentary life (Facebook-like)."

ESMERELDA: I started reading some books about feminine mystique.

ME: That's holiday!
ESMERELDA: I wandered and wondered about indulging in the feminine worry, ok?

ME: You found a lover, a man to soothe that angst about losing your man to war!

ESMERELDA: I'm not the Devil, fool...just curious more now about art-of-life.

ME: Damn you...I was gonna write a novel about us, about post-war returns, girl!

ESMERELDA: Life's beaches, love; and I can't change the art-of-life (sorry).

"Wow, Esmerelda had really thrown me for a loop here, friends. Here I came returned from the Afghan War ready to be a writer and continuity-angel for things of post-office work for rehab and sanity and religion but didn't think my darling lady whom I left-behind to fight for my American Homeland post-9/11 would (somehow) become a messenger of darkness in my brain (wow). What would I tell my friends now? I had to think I was trapped in some tornado-wind of the 'kites' variety (for the Ego).

ESMERELDA: You label me a banshee?
ME: What else?
ESMERELDA: I explained I'm feeling 'literary' about the gender world.

ME: Aha.

ESMERELDA: I have to think about thinking; you're just a soldier.

ME: Aha.

ESMERELDA: There's threads of time, friend.

MA: Selfie-like.
