Mr. Amlan Satan continued his cool exchange of sports-superstitions 'examination' language with his inquirer, a nihilist messenger of demon-like visage named Endymion, a mind from the Abyss, concerning athletic-performance enhancement intelligence/consciousness for 21st-Century Selfie-culture evaluations of value(s). Amlan had already answered (well) the first-part of the 3-part inquiry posed by Endymion and now (eagerly) awaited the second-part, not knowing what the Abyss-messenger would offer to say/ask/think (Facebook-like).

When Amlan was growing up, he tried his hand at multiple sports, including hockey, tennis, soccer, basketball, and long-distance running; but as an adult, the prince of sports-writing on Earth enjoyed writing mostly about football and baseball, and sometimes the Olympics. Endymion wished to measure his acumen concerning one subject 'matter' of value, that of performance-enhancement (doping/steroids, etc.). Amlan wondered what the demon-like nihilist would ask him for the all-important second-part of this 3-part inquiry of Earth-realm athletics-know for the Ego/doubt (Selfie-like!).

ENDYMION: I've rather grown fond of your strength-femme crayon-doodle avatar.

AMLAN: Thanx.

ENDYMION: Surely a reflection of your interest in comics and video-game culture.

AMLAN: Thanx.

ENDYMION: The 2nd-part of this 'exam' concerns, of course, money/capitalism.

AMLAN: Which one, Endymion?
ENDYMION: Both, I think (what do you think?).

AMLAN: I'd say money makes the profit-share image one of multiple minds!

ENDYMION: That it does, and when athletes take steroids, they make money!

AMLAN: That they may; and this second question (I think) concerns robustness.

ENDYMION: Robust...for the 'art' of competition's records/lyrics, prince?

AMLAN: Something like that (Facebook-like).

AMLAN: I think of the mortal thoughts of steroids, for long-term threats to soul.

ENDYMION: The soul, you say.

AMLAN: Think of the long-term worries of erosion of natural body systems, no?

ENDYMION: Nothing makes making money easy, prince (yes?).

AMLAN: Well, steroids is not just alcoholism but chemical mutation for laurels.

ENDYMION: If an athlete isn't caught, s/he may achieve much, retire, money!

AMLAN: Surely true; but there's been ample inquiries for athletes under view.

ENDYMION: The pressures of TV/media culture for celebrity and renown, no?

AMLAN: Compromises to life for gold is an ancient tale, one of knit-envy.

ENDYMION: Good answer, Mr. Satan...let's conclude (then) with part-3.

AMLAN: Selfie-like.
