A new transfer, a tougher bigger tight-end position dreaming junior-athlete, Kirby, had moved into our area and wanted me to 'assimilate' him into my promising Wolverine-force of New England (ok). Kirby had 'troubles' of the heart, expressing angst like a bully of sorts and confiding in me his move with his divorced mom post-discovery of his dad's nefarious underworld ties to international narcotics 'politics' wave (for leviathan/uncertainty). I suddenly felt like Kirby's father (Selfie-like), which is precisely what his mother (Elaine) wanted me to think/feel/believe (ok)." ![]() ELAINE: Are you my lucky-13, mister? ME: Hey, I'm a Slovak-Algerian Bostonian-Catholic, ex-writer, now-coach, ha. ELAINE: Kirby's Hell. ME: He's got great talent for tight-end reliabilities we need to streak this year! ELAINE: Really? ME: He dotes on you...and he's (grudgingly) learning to appreciate my words. ELAINE: He wants to be a bully-inside, because he's not forgotten dark-dad, ok? ME: Hey, my Wolverine-force 'agenda' here's to guide Kirby...and woo you, lady. ELAINE: We'll see if you've got such New England 'know' (Facebook-like). ME: Of course (for doubt). ![]() "Would you believe/think my Wolverine-force of New England shined brightly that season/year I began coaching for pay on Earth? Yes, Kirby was that magic-ingredient, helping us sew-together our good talent in QB and receiver and cornerback position(s) to assemble a handsome 'upstart' team that made it all the way to the Semi-Finals of the tourney (ok). I took Kirby to a fast chicken early-supper following one practice before our big showdown with rival Ravens to get to the champions-level; and I told Kirby, 'I've fallen for resurrection...and your mom's knucklebones-faith (for doubt)'. As a teacher, coach, American, chicken-lover, and football 'dude' of Earth, I smiled when my troubled junior-athlete 'ward' smiled (in spirits)." ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
