Mr. Amlan Satan, Slovak-Algerian Catholic-American sports-writer of Boston-town (New England), found himself in a billiards-place on a Saturday's Eve in the Autumn-'25 season musing about his special NFL-QB trading-card 'trophy' while practicing slick angle shots to impress a pool-shark lady (Esmerelda) when the Devil in disguise approached him for a special question about the vanities of capitalism intelligence for the Earth's (American) Selfie-culture distances. Follow along, friends (Selfie-like!).

DEVIL: Mr. Satan, that's a funny surname, Slovak-Algerian, ice-hockey stuff, no?

AMLAN: Yes, I know of a great Slovak ice-hockey player of same surname, ha.

DEVIL: I read your blogs about your Vikings-QB football trading-card trophy, ok.

AMLAN: You recognized me in this New England billiards-place waving Esmerelda.

DEVIL: She was rather impressed by your angle-shots for human aim/positions, sir.

AMLAN: They called me the English Thief of pool (in college, Dartmouth!).

DEVIL: Now you've translated 'angle' into football QB-cards image storytelling, ok.

AMLAN: What's your inquiry, sir...you can see I was happy-drunk with Esmerelda?

DEVIL: Friend, my question concerns your football-card 'know' (laurel-knitting).
AMLAN: I see (Selfie-like).

DEVIL: Fan of spy films (James Bond, etc.)?

AMLAN: I liked The Last Boy Scout (Tony Scott)...detective-stories (football!).

DEVIL: Have you seen Blood Diamond (Leo DiCaprio)?

AMLAN: What's this (all) about, sir?
DEVIL: That Leo film concerns eco-capitalism infiltration.

AMLAN: So?
DEVIL: Wondering if your work with competition 'consciousness' inspires ethics.

AMLAN: Ethics.

DEVIL: You say you were the English Thief of pool; now you write cards-vanities.

AMLAN: So...naturally, I'd be 'hypnotized' by a tale of capitalism-knit (ha).

DEVIL: It's a complex world, and in this (simple) pool-place talk makes religion!

AMLAN: Well, I suppose it's a capitalism 'ethos' world of Selfie-knot lines.

DEVIL: That was my riddle-question...profundity of 'art' surrounding you, pal.

AMLAN: Weird (Selfie-like).

The Devil seemed pleased with Amlan Satan's Selfie-sense of life and work and imagination satisfaction for the consciousness he'd developed for his Earthling (American) life; Amlan wondered if he'd spice his American football-QB trading-card 'trophy' write with something more 'worldly' symbolic like capitalism waves depths (e.g., World Bank) but remained content his billiards-place activity for human/social competition lines was all that Earthlings craved...for knives (Selfie-like).
