Purge (of the Labyrinth): Part 3

Maze-challenge guide angel narrates the Earthling adventure of a married-couple who must win a throne to evade Purge-prosecution (fanfic-crossover trilogy).

My (epic) experimental (3-part story) blend/hybrid of two fave-films/franchises, Pan's Labyrinth (Guillermo del Toro) and The Purge (James DeMonaco). Thanks for reading (Happy Thanksgiving-November Saturday),

"The darling couple of the American Dream sought, 'AE' (Amlan and Esmerelda), now had one last-task in our angels-erected Labyrinth challenge to acquire their spirit-throne, both for our optimism-theory they were (Adam and Eve) reincarnated post-war things in Heaven concerning the Devil's malice/mischief and for their acquisition of our Labyrinth winner's magic prize sports trading-card of Earthling/American sports-culture IQ to win an 'official' Purge pardon. I, their angel-guide and escort, had seen them through with delight with their success with the 1st-two challenges and now hoped they'd find the right-stuff acumen to complete the final task/test, the rescue of a babe of a lily-pad for reflection of their American Dream 'things' and social media lifestyle 'image' for things of the heart (Facebook-like!)."

"Friends, AE (Amlan and Esmerelda) had already procured the dragon's helmet in our underworld/invisible Labyrinth and then made that special basket shot/score to get to the 3rd-sector task/challenge of our maze/game. So, I tried to inject them with some special last-task motivations so they'd view that last task for its depth and density, the rescue of a babe from a lily-pad (ok). After all, to win that magic sports trading-card in our Labyrinth to procure 'official' pardon from the Purge (the annual night of socialized/ritualized anarchy and crime to rid the human heart of any urge for chaos/mayhem for any other part of the year), AE (Amlan and Esmerelda) would have to prove a Selfie-balance 'act' reflective of what made (any!) Purge-pardon a 'thing' of social/nets kinesthesia of surroundings-awareness (ok)."

"I tried to inject AE (Amlan and Esmerelda), the darling married-couple who'd win our Labyrinth spirit-throne and continue in their quest (safely/sanely) for that now-fabled American Dream, with the right-stuff energy to complete their final/3rd maze challenge/task, the rescue of a babe from a lily-pad by hypnotizing the infant with Selfie-calm to avoid (any) vertigo and thereby snatch that sports magic card behind the lily-pad on the underworld lake (ok). Amlan held the babe in his arms after Esmerelda ('coolly') pricked her fingertip to procure one drop of blood to hypnotize the babe into a state of Selfie-restfulness (with the sight of clean, quiet liquid-drop into the babe's open palm!); and then Esmerelda ('coolly') swam ahead of the lily-pad to get our placed magic sports card to present to the Purge advocates (council, etc.) for restorations...of all things! AE had succeeded (wow)."

PART 3 (The Resolution):

ANGEL (Me): So, now you've found a beautiful (Yankees) baseball-card, ok!
AE (Amlan and Esmerelda): We kept the babe in the lake still/calm; for you.

ANGEL: I took it in my arms, heroes!
AE: Surely, this magical sports trading-card procured shall win us Purge-pardon.
ANGEL: I know it (congrats), AE.
AE: Why all this fancy process just to have us excused from the Purge, angel?
ANGEL: The world is the subconscious...restoration of things is magic/acumen!
AE: Surely the Purge advocates (council, etc.) shall see it this way, then (ha).
ANGEL: Surely shall, AE (farewell...and find your American Dream for Earth).
AE: As would have Adam and Eve, we suppose (farewell).
ANGEL: Facebook-like (for Heaven/Hell).
AE: Cool.
