Wow, Amlan had really transformed his Selfie, from cool and normal North American hockey junior-league coach to a masked crusader tracking a hypothesized singular criminal-femme rumored (on social media) to be making strikes and terror-hits against diamond universe humans in the varied pockets of the continent they shared. The femme of darkness, Danica, was otherwise just (once) a calendar-girl for general sports fun but decided to mutate her mind as an anti-Cupid, but no one knew the string of half-seemingly unconnected diamond world crimes was performed by the same human (her!) and that her given singular-visage cyber-alias among gossip/campfire makers ('anti-Cupid') was...quite accurate. Amlan was now tracking Danica, and these two opposite-gender humans of North America...really were opposites in Selfie-story (Facebook-like).

AMLAN: I can see her, sense it, feel the grips tightening, my mind getting pretty!

READER: You're a dreamer, an idealist, a nut...and I don't believe it's you.

AMLAN: Hey, I've been blogging while chasing this singular-criminal woman.

READER: So she hates Valentine's and diamond-gifts world, so what, hero?
AMLAN: Hey, maybe it's not me, and I'm just blogging, but someone's chasing her!

READER: This is all hearsay; maybe these diamond-universe crimes are not linked!

AMLAN: I doubt it, and I doubt others don't agree.
READER: Why chase this 'hypothetical' criminal of diamonds, anti-Cupid girl?

AMLAN: Because I'm a man reincarnated, a new Robin Hood, fool.

READER: Really?

What made Amlan's little diamond-vigilante Selfie-crusade quite special, friends, is that it made some pretty-nifty consumer-fantasy campfires in a new Earth time of things of capitalism lifestyle/superstitions, though Robin Hood was (actually) dead, ha. No one really knew of Danica's evil, but Amlan pursued her with no-know, masked, like a vigilant archer or masked-racer for the Ego (wow).

DETECTIVE ALVAREZ: This is evil, friend.
AMLAN: Hey, I'm just a journal-man making photo-record and stories, sir.

DETECTIVE ALVAREZ: This dead-woman is the princess-daughter of a gems-baron.

AMLAN: Wow.

DETECTIVE ALVAREZ: Following the gossip about 'anti-Cupid' and 'Robin Hood' run?

AMLAN: I read it, sir, yes; no proof it's one criminal; no affirm of a vigilante-chase.

DETECTIVE ALVAREZ: Hey, Robin Hood's dead anyways, ha.

AMLAN: All's fare in diamonds and knight-helmet, sir (Facebook-like).

DETECTIVE ALVAREZ: Geez, how will this (all) end in the end, friend (Selfie-like)?
