Lady Icarus: The Freudian Id

"I had been writing (Christian myth stories) about the great War in Heaven, between the fallen angel Lucifer, former first-knight of God's kingdom, and the legion of defender angels, marshaled by the archangel Michael. I had been working on a modernization of this tale for thought about the development of industry and computers and why God and Lucifer (the Devil) would compete for hand in the traffic-shapes of urbanization and information-capitalism for globe-rhetoric securities intelligence claims of the Ego. I started thinking of God as the Freudian 'Superego' (mind-frame conception term signifying the human mental construction of ethics and values and conscience for social network sanitation image) and the Devil as the Freudian 'Id' (mind-frame conception term signifying the primalism instincts of embracing uncertainty and the flow of indulgences for free-will coloring of a liberal self-determination). It dawned on me that these ideas about a War in Heaven reflected an Earth-realm civilization thought of social network duties/activities of everyday-psyche consciousness for...ambition (Facebook-like)."

STORY_EXCERPT: God and the Devil made wages of thinking for the value and placement of the time-traveling angel known as Lady Icarus, a woman who made great synthetic wings that melted when she flew too close to the sun's rays, thereby betraying her mortality because of a simple indulgence of risk-evasion for the subconscious; and humans would wonder why this Lady Icarus would translate this failure of ambition into a modern Earth (21st-Century) frailty-goal language (for capitalism).

STORY_EXCERPT: God and the Devil noted the work of the time-travel woman, Lady Icarus, who'd already once-failed with synthetic wings burned by sun-rays because of flight-height err choice, and noted how she newly-applied her personals-consciousness of ambition for capitalism-translation into the 21st-Century Earth, becoming a strength-enhanced super-athlete woman for an Earthling time of European invitations to American-NFL teams for broad TV-society commentary and capital marketing thought of vanity/flowery/competition/networking inspiring the lady-angel to cast herself as a Selfie-messenger of fitness achievements for world's oculus.

"As I placed Lady Icarus, my protagonist-antiheroine, in this liberal frame of War in Heaven reflection for ambition, doubt, and civilization-walls, in a modernized frame of things NFL, capitalism, TV, and competition-commentary for the Ego, I began to take-stock of American film representations of football-sport imagery and cleats/helmets for competitive tough/swift/organized field-play maybe (sometimes) offset by 'troubles' of manmade imagination. I began to think of Lady Icarus in my story-settings, as a wing-vanity failure person and then a strength-enhancement athletics vanity messenger, as the penultimate 'diplomat' of the Freudian Id, perhaps for some Earth-realm ('touchback') achievements of know-good (hmmm)."
