While the Batman had become a special masked operating vigilante in darkened Gotham City in the American Homeland, using an alias for heroics reflective of his work as a night-vision embracing anti-crime daredevil with offbeat weaponry of great use-value(s) (the flying bat!), his nemesis, a clown-costumed mystery-man rose to power to dethrone the Batman's social media gossip-friendly visage of things citizenry/know (Facebook-like).

BATMAN: Not a fan of Gotham sibling-kids trekking to the football stadium?

JOKER: You assume Gotham parents appreciate outlaw-justice, fool?

BATMAN: Well, this city may need some extra credit policemen's aid, bad-guy.

JOKER: We're both eccentrics; you embrace a creature-alias, me a circus-one!
BATMAN: I appreciate your nihilism shape of things criminal/insanity/mischief.

JOKER: Appreciate?

BATMAN: Social controls for civics requires a spice of idealism for teamwork.

JOKER: We're not team-mates, fool...but we're opposites.

BATMAN: Never under-appreciate the Earthling value of mirrored gossip, bad-guy.

JOKER: So...our debate/game begins...for an (American) jellyfish.

BATMAN: Facebook-like!

So, the debate-game between the heroic-idealist (offbeat) vigilante the Batman and his clown-faced nihilist sarcastic anti-social crime-insane pseudo-terrorist the Joker had begun; and Joker 'spiced' the much-viewed cyber-debate with the masked vigilante with a direct anti-American (anonymous) blog-campaign about incomplete-arts of American governance concerning Russian co-investment value(s) with the International Space-Station making worry of long-term nation-exchange diplomacy 'theater' on Earth during the admonished Russian invasion of Ukraine (Eastern Europe). The Batman wondered if the clown-faced Joker simply sought citizenry/traffic culture 'jitters' for Earth-networks solidarity rhetoric for journalism...or capitalism (Facebook-like).

BATMAN: I'm thinking the Joker makes bad word or motivation for the zoo.

COMMISSIONER GORDON: Because he hates you and hence bats, hero?

BATMAN: Thanx for being my counselor, Gordon (really).

COMMISSIONER GORDON: This pact is secret, Batman...no one must know/think.

BATMAN: Yeah, who wants to pry into the chief's worry of lack of cop-support?

COMMISSIONER GORDON: You're just about sane-enough, and Joker proves it!

BATMAN: We'll see if this debate-game links for Joker's joke about zoo-acid.

COMMISSIONER GORDON: Yes, Joker means to take acid to the zoo as a circus act.

BATMAN: I'll be there, post-debate/games, Gordon (Facebook-like).
