Darling newlyweds of Mardi Gras consciousness stumble upon an erected candy-cottage in Coutourie Forest hiding a lurking sinister Martian requiring some (onside) wit(s).

Amlan and Ezzy found themselves (still) caged in the frozen-chocolate cottage deep in the Coutourie-woods of New Orleans (Louisiana) in the dark-keep of the Predator-Martian who landed on Earth to make for evil eye sport of the world he spied on from Mars, even though he wasn't (technically) Martian but an alien of dreadful-appearance/consciousness from a faraway galaxy simply spying on humans from Mars. The Predator-Martian had razors and lasers and wanted to make thin-paper of the souls of Amlan/Ezzy who foolishly wandered into his chocolate-cottage death-trap in the forest, a cottage made to lure in Mardi Gras revelers or New Orleans woods-wanderers drawn by an Earthling 'charm' of things...lit.

AMLAN: Man, had that UV-light telescope not faded in power, we'd not wandered.

EZZY: We were roaming in the dark Coutourie post-failure of your darn toy, pal.

AMLAN: Look, I joked to you we'd become siblings-like for Mardi-Gras thinking!

EZZY: What the Hell do we do now...trapped by the Predator (for sport/cage)?

AMLAN: I'm cooking-up some method for use of my Jack-of-clubs card for charm.

EZZY: You want to match wits with a Martian with razors and lasers for paper?

AMLAN: Honey, this maybe is best-chance of escapism for candy-cottage helmet.

EZZY: Keep thinking, pal...

Amlan wondered what he'd do to mind-link his (magical?) Jack-of-clubs card to some language-helmet proposition for the Predator-Martian to match wit(s) with the invader/hunter to get himself and his 'siblings-like' darling forest-adventure co-trekker (and newlywed-wife!) Ezzy out of this New Orleans (Louisiana) hellmouth worth a dark-read for Earthling kilns. Amlan thought to invoke the profiteer-voyeurism symbolism of the Jack-of-clubs for a Coutourie-forest terminology of things...onside.

PREDATOR: What you gibberish?
AMLAN: This charm is worth 1K-words, Mister Martian.

PREDATOR: I said I'm from faraway, not Mars...only used Red Planet for spy-base.

AMLAN: My Jack-of-clubs card (in-pocket) is an onside-know of forests-bath.

PREDATOR: What you gibberish, human?

AMLAN: I'm of-mind to 'know' your agenda is to decapitate Ezzy and me (Hell).

PREDATOR: Right.
AMLAN: Jack-of-clubs card maybe is an oculus 'lottery'-symbol for eco-capitalism.

PREDATOR: You making 'game' of things electric, human (to firelight me)?
