"My roommate at my campus had become a special college-athletics (football) phenom, destined for great pro-level spirits of cheers and competitiveness for cleats in that game of grits and offense-defense choreography on-field for things of rants and tactics and pushing and passing. I didn't envy him, but I kept wondering what his life was like and what his consciousness was all about, inside his brain. What did he think about inside his helmet during those games we cheered as students on-campus and how'd it affect his views of life on-campus before and after the game for life itself?"

"I'm an older man now, a teacher, an established man of career and thinking and boast my own students for guidance and marshaling. I'm not into sports-fields or coaching of sports, but I think back on my memory of my college-years cheers of my football-team star-roommate and how he prepared for Saturday games with week-work studies of 'regular' student-life things (ok). I think of that memory as a teacher now, wondering what that prince of college football, a duke of cleats of competitiveness, thought about to link football with the photo-synthesis of education in our American Homeland."

ROOMMATE: Your special lamb-curry dish for Sunday, eh, buddy?
ME: Thanx (want some?).

ROOMMATE: This surely has become our regular Sunday roommate sharing!

ME: Thanx (lamb is hot).

ROOMMATE: Can't wait for this rivalry game this weekend in Carolina, buddy.

ME: I'm going on that student-fan cheer bus for the game (ok!).

ROOMMATE: I think we'll win, and your lamb-curry gives me good spirit for luck.

ME: Cool!

"My roommate and I had quite an offbeat student-life conversational space-share relationship, and as he made our school/campus football-team cheer 'feel' something really great for the 4 years we saw him succeed/excel, I knew my 2nd-year (sophomore-year) experience being his on-campus dorm roommate was something that'd make me extra credit pensive of what made/makes football a 'knucklebones' bridge between learning and listening for crayons...and courtesies."
