The Duke/Coach (Part 2)

The Duke/Coach (Part 2)

A Story by Abishai100
"

Narrated portrait of a cyber-teacher, a duke-of-branch, remembering his work as a college-football assistant-coach for an Earthling 'know' of journals (3-part story).

"
My 3rd sports-culture consciousness/emotions trilogy vignette, for my Sunday of East Coast (USA) snow-storm window-staring feelings. Thanks for reading (Happy January, all)

"I rather began to enjoy my memory of college-years coaching of football aspirations on-field as an assistant for my school/program and thought why my work and interest and IQ for offense/defense balance act education for my student-athletes reinforced wholesome images of the grand-ballet of the grit-game of helmets/cleats for teamwork and ground-momentum choreography (for doubt!)."

"Here I was now, an adult cyber-homeschool teacher of advanced age, an older (American) man of educational interest and colors and wings, remembering my 'examination' of the student-athlete discourse for football field momentum and why/how I wanted my football school-program athletes to think intrinsically of how competition-consciousness could/would be infused with an emerged Blue-Planet Selfie-net 'culture' of things...knucklebones (ha)."

"I thought about that time on-campus as an assistant-coach prepping my football athletes for Saturday-TV energies and why I motivated these American Homeland athletes to focus/dream on Earthling-things of competition for midways-consciousness (ok!). I'd tell a student/athlete about the value of balancing schoolwork with games; another of the weight of working with other teammates who didn't necessarily share similar-view of competition as he did; and another of the intelligence of taking home-notes of what he learned from practice and shining/shirking from a previous game, perhaps to prep for a valued Saturday-TV spotlighted rivalry-theater football game...of Earthling (American) judgment for doubt and wit(s)."

WAITRESS: Here's your chicken-pie, prince.
ME: Prince...well, actually, I consider myself a 'duke' of sports-arts (ha).
WAITRESS: Still scribbling notes about memories of being a sports-coach, eh?
ME: Still.
WAITRESS: This chicken-pie ought to infuse some weekend mirror for ya, doll.
ME: Thanx...a good teacher-man (like me) ought to think sporks (you know?).

TO BE CONTINUED...
