Lycanthropy study-pals follow a modern American Homeland park-sighting of the wolfen moonlight-specter and discover something (quite) know-no.

AMLAN: The dangerous humanoid shape-shifted wolf is ancient and folkloric, ok.

MARCUS: Yes, pal...from Egypt and Greece and Rome, we know animalia-knot.

AMLAN: The werewolf then spread across Middle Ages through modern cinema!

MARCUS: Our trek to this park at night for follow of a sighting is 21st-Century.

AMLAN: That's right, my co-adventurer friend; and we'll be Facebook-like (ok).

Amlan and Marcus were certain now that their following of a park sighting of a 'lycanthrope' (werewolf) in a modern setting on Earth piqued their work/study/investments in the ancient and developed/'evolved' campfires and iconography of what captured a human realm(s) fascination with the prowling wolfen-humanoid, a half-and-half leviathan-being of hunting/stalking/scent sensitivity and isolationist quality for half-mental and half-primal moonlit 'ghost-magic' for things...feared/weird! The two American Homeland lycanthropy studies pals of Princeton (NJ) knew this claim of werewolf-sighting in a modern setting signaled a potential energizer-IQ for Earthling-things...quickening (ok).

AMLAN: There it/he is, Marcus man (damn!).

MARCUS: Get your weapon-case, Amlan (ok).

AMLAN: We'll shoot the gun right at the lycanthrope's beating heart, damn.

MARCUS: If we can disorient it at least and sedate it, we can study mortality.

AMLAN: Ha, that moonlit-magic of power the wolf gains maybe is immortality!

MARCUS: Well, we know this isn't purely rabies, Amlan (ok).

AMLAN: Selfie-like.

Amlan/Marcus managed to use their 'magic' weapons to down the werewolf 'specter' in the American Homeland park where sightings had been reported/claimed for a 21st-Century fear (ok). However, despite nailing the howling creature by-moonlight one dark-Eve, the two lycanthropy-studies pals of Earth noted it simply rose back up (as if to come-alive from a state of vertigo/pain) and then scurried away with sufficient speed to prevent the gents from chasing/tracking it in a night of unfortunate thick-fog (damn). Amlan wrote in his journal, "Puncture-laurel invokes a moonlit mysticism duty free consciousness for appreciating this dark/ancient/enduring 'specter' of moonlight as a Blue Planet messenger of stranger things not-dying."
