Amlan didn't fully-believe the (half-anonymous) person emailing him post-read of his football-blog(s) that the spy was indeed and for-deed a curious Martian (Endymion); but he was inspired to think his language-response to Endymion's Buffalo-town fanfare shape was proportionately 'cute' for Blue Planet things...quarks (hmmm).
