Paper-and-Gerund: Vigilante Think-Jeep (Part 1)

Idealist vigilantes (Paper/Gerund) seek road-miracles of gossip against the underworld-nemesis ('Hook') in Sunday-night vehicle races for knits-fiction (3-part story).

Continuing a theme I introduced in a write I made yesterday, about two vigilante-characters I invented (Paper/Gerund) for explorations of city-shapes and mobilization of risk-shadows.

PAPER (Marcus): We've advanced in this American Homeland city-game with Hell.

GERUND (Amlan): We've for-deed become good masked-vigilantes for fight, pal.

PAPER: Our adversary, the gems black market warlock ('Hook') has us seeing IQ!

GERUND: He's sharp and awful, like Captain Hook; and this enemy's ours, pal.

PAPER: Our achievements in the underground against Hook has to be spiced now!

GERUND: We've sent social/media/cyber gossip-word out about this jeep-race.

PAPER: Shall counter Hook's minions on-road in vans for extortion/speed, man.

GERUND: Facebook-like.

The challenged American Homeland city Amlan and Marcus called home as buddies was about to become more complex (in theory!), because of the continuing contest-of-will(s) cast by the adversarial gems black-market kingpin, Hook, who took his stranger alias from Peter Pan's Captain Hook character (Selfie-like). This new-century Earth urban 'environment' fostered forms of good-and-evil, and Marcus and Amlan had transformed themselves into the fun/unusual masked vigilantes known as 'Paper' and 'Gerund' for social-gossip (Facebook-like!). Paper/Gerund had already made cool-strides against Hook's evil-empire and sought to spice the contest with a night-roads race in their jeep against Hook's van-riding minions (extortionists/vandals/thugs). Would this make for good urban (American) fiction?

HOOK: Paper and Gerund dare to challenge my soldiers in a night-race, eh?

EMPLOYEE: Sir Hook, this seems to be the inception of some road-prestige chat!

HOOK: Well, we'll assign our 'good'-men to race against Paper/Gerund by-night.

EMPLOYEE: This van-and-jeep race in the city invokes a toylands-metaphysics!

HOOK: That it does, and we'll see what cyber-gossip Paper/Gerund hype (ha).

EMPLOYEE: Facebook-like (for all)?

JOURNALIST: Seems to be the inception of something unusual for our city.

POLICEMAN: Well, 'Sir Hook' has the mark of Al Capone; and this is weird-art.

JOURNALIST: We know Paper/Gerund seek night-races (by-jeep) against Hook.

POLICEMAN: Sure, and they want cyber-chatter of jeep-and-van professionalism.

JOURNALIST: As long as there's no damages and injuries; only traffic-light races?

POLICEMAN: We'll see what these ritualized night-races in-vehicles generates.

JOURNALIST: The marked clearings of the races are areas of less-traffic, sir?

POLICEMAN: Yes; the races are marked late-night Sundays when traffic's dim.

JOURNALIST: Who's making the reports/recordings (for 'hyperbole')?

POLICEMAN: Whoever has camera/eye for one-jeep and 2-vans of control.

JOURNALIST: Paper/Gerund speed-in-jeep against Hook's double-van team?

POLICEMAN: Music playing (circus-tunes) for aura of NFL-Sunday, pal (ok).
